Some of you commenting all nasty about staying in? Clearly you weren’t in the area where this was going on, we had 100mph winds knocking down all kinds of power lines, huge trees, etc. Xcel is trying to be cautious since not that long ago the same type of winds caused a fire that damn near burned down half the county, businesses, and homes, killing people and pets and causing horrific car accidents and we were tapping dry pumps because our water source was gone so quickly due to sprinklers going off in schools, businesses, etc. It’s a warning to stay inside for safety…not a mandated order!
