@adam_pottinger Coached Pottsie in little league football. Kid used to do this to tackle the QB right off snap of the ball!! Glad he's still putting it to good use!

@adam_pottinger IT CRUSHED ESPN! This guy should've had HIS OWN TOP 10 tonight where they just replay this for another 9 times. THAT was great. Still can't believe he managed to pull that off. And people say baseball is BORING!! LOL.. maybe it wouldn't be if there more slam dunks like this

@adam_pottinger For everyone saying he is out the pitcher never had the ball in his glove and never tagged him with the hand that had the ball in it. He was safe. If you tag someone with your glove while the ball is in the other hand it isn't an out.

@adam_pottinger ADAM, ARE U FREAKIN KIDDING ME? ESPN should've given you YOUR OWN TOP 10! The timing had to be perfect, the distance to first had to be perfect, your leap over the 1B had to be perfect height to get over him, land near the base AND all this had to be in the baseline! UNREAL!

This play right here that happened during this girls softball game doesn’t happen very often. The center fielder throws the ball home to try and get the runner coming around third. The pitcher catches the ball near home, up the line a little bit and the runner bulldozes her over. But the little pitcher holds onto the ball. Runner is out! While the pitcher is down in pain, the following runner who reached third on the play decides she is going to try and score while the pitcher is hurt. But, the pitcher gets up and tags her out too! Two outs at home by the pitcher! I love tough kids! 💯 Do you think that first runner should have been ejected for running the pitcher over? Or do you think it was a clean, hard, play? Ever seen a pitcher make two outs at home during the same sequence of play?

In our league the play stops when the ball gets back to the pitcher. So getting it back in fast is everything! Our team was struggling with it so I came up with this game on the fly. One practice. Fixed. And the kids were BEGGING to play it again! Here's how it works: ⚾ Two teams. Defense takes their positions. ⚾ Hit through the full order with a tennis racket and tennis ball. ⚾ Every base touched before the ball gets back to the pitcher = 1 point. ⚾ For example: Pitcher secures the ball between second and third? 2 points. ⚾ Out at first before runner gets there or fly ball caught? Zero points. ⚾ Score and keep running if the ball still isn't back. The play never stops until the pitcher has it in the pitchers circle . Works on getting the ball back in fast, backing up throws, base running, communication, and teamwork. We saw a massive difference the very next game! PLEASE SHARE with someone this can help! ⚾💪🔥

This men’s softball game has an interesting play. Runner on first less than two outs, batter hits a ground ball to first. The first baseman fields it but the runner from first never leaves the bag to run to second base. The first baseman tags the runner on first while he is still on first base and then tags the base with his foot. Many said that since the runner at first never left the bag, he is not out. 🤔 While others said the runner at first is forced to run. Without looking the rule up, I would say that is a double play. The batter is definitely out and the runner is out for being tagged. He is forced to run imho. What do you think? Without looking the rule up, who is out?

This team batting has a runner on first, less than two outs. Batter drops a beautiful bunt. The third and first base girls charge hard towards the ball. The shortstop covers second and the second base girl covered first. Textbook defense on a bunt. But the offensive team has practiced this play before. The girl at first had no intention of stopping at second base with the shortstop there and third base girl charging hard near home plate. She doesn’t break stride and heads toward third with no one there….or so she thought. 😳 The third base girl fields the ball, turns and fires to third base to get the runner. Look who is covering third base. 🙌 As well as the offensive team practiced that bunt play, the team on defense was equally as well coached. 💯 Excellent job ladies.
