Always happy to see design projects we’ve been working on go live. Enjoy the new brand look for Polar Signals Over the last few months, we worked on the company’s brand refresh, designed and developed the new website, built multiple apps to speed up brand graphic creation, produced a product explainer reel for the hero section, and created an extensive branding system so every asset feels consistent while still being unique to the brand. Polar Signals wanted to preserve parts of their existing visual identity, especially the original colors and gradients. We used that as a starting point, then refined the color system, created new gradient combinations, and modernized the overall look while keeping a clear connection to the brand’s legacy. We also came up with the new typography and grid system, and blended different visual styles so the brand could support a technical, information-heavy product while still feeling polished, clear, and professional. Proud of how the system came together. Stay tuned for some behind-the-scenes materials from the project.

Nova Teal When we set out to make a transparent green shell, we were torn between an “Alien Green” we wanted to call Xeno Green (hello, fellow Alien fans), or a lush, earthly green we would have named Terran Green. But in the end, we chose Nova Teal instead. It’s beautiful, mysterious, and unmistakably otherworldly. A fitting name, we think, because the closest nova lies about 6,500 light-years away. Shining in the dark, visited only to those who dare to venture into the unknown. Just like many of our Pathfinder users, who never settle on a single shape and keep sending us new configurations they are maining at the moment. constantly adjusting & refining based on the game they play and their own evolving style. $24. Today we're launching a new brand and website for Warp. Our last website was built 18 months ago. At the time, we had a handful of customers, a small team, and a product thesis that most people thought was a dead end. The feedback in 2023 from investors was consistent: the market's too fragmented, the incumbents are too entrenched, you're betting on technology that doesn't work yet. We didn't listen. Since then, Warp has grown to serve thousands of companies. We've processed hundreds of millions in payments, on track to $1B this year. Companies are migrating away from ADP, Rippling, Gusto. Some breaking their contracts to switch. We went from a payroll product to a full platform: HRIS, payroll, AI tax compliance, benefits, IT, global payroll. The first employee management platform that runs itself. At a certain point, the gap between what you've become and how you present yourself starts to work against you. So we rebuilt everything. The new brand is built around a tension we love: analog precision meets velocity. Technical, but warm. Engineered for performance, designed with soul. Think 1960s racing garage meets modern editorial design. It reflects how we build the product: obsessive attention to the details you never see. The invisible circuit boards are beautiful. We're just getting started. This is the next chapter.

🏃 Movement + Animation Update: Following feedback on the Official Trailer from December, we've been further tuning and polishing Stuffy's movement to make it more responsive and fluid. We hope this video is a promising glimpse of our much-requested progress in this area! What's New? - Stuffy is now ~10% smaller, granting more playable space and control (to accurately fit inside of a 'layered' segment, land tight jumps, etc.) - Stuffy's run speed was increased, and with better acceleration. - Stuffy now reacts to 'extreme' rising and falling velocities, so they'll flail around dramatically when popping out of a Blink Bubble, bouncing on a Trampoline, or falling from big jumps. - We've updated and added all-new animations and the method of blending them. This includes animations for idle jump and land, running jump and land, quick turn while running, and more. - We've increased Stuffy's max jump height, strength, and overall weight. - We've also increased the global gravity for less floaty physics. - A more visible drop shadow was added to help judge landing. Why these changes? From our own testing and public feedback, we realized the physics were not properly tuned after a big refactoring made in 2023... resulting in a floaty look. Sadly, the fixes weren't investigated in time for the trailer! Our goal was always to improve the animation blending and movement style. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to pinpoint the biggest problems and begin fixing them. 💖 Our work isn't done! You'll notice some bugs in the video. 🐞 We plan to continue polishing the movement with time, including new animations that help Stuffy react to the environment even better. However, this is a step in the right direction and it feels much nicer to use (and look at)! You'll also spot some of the Wardrobe in action!

What a tremendous honor it was to be the head coach of New Mexico Highlands Men's Basketball. After the past 48 hours saw our President Dr. Neil Woolf, the very best man I know on earth, be ousted without reason, along with our provost and multiple other high ranking members of our leadership team/administration relieved of duties, it was clear that the path forward was untenable for our program. I’m eternally grateful to Dr. Neil Woolf and Dr. Paul Grindstaff for their faith, support, and forward-thinking vision and will always hold a special place in my heart for Highlands University. I’ll always be proud of our program’s first winning season in RMAC Sports play since 2019-20, and cherish the commitment from our guys that helped our team become the first Cowboys team with a winning conference record this decade in any sport at New Mexico Highlands Athletics. I look forward to supporting our single season program record EIGHT (8!) graduates at commencement this Saturday. Go Cowboys!

After 27 years of campaigning, we’ve secured over £350 million for the complete rebuild of #WhippsCross Hospital. When Whipps was under threat of closure during a Labour Govt in 2007, I led the charge and organised a 21,000 strong petition to keep it open. Now the Conservatives Govt have approved our plan, and we are weeks away from starting. Yet this progress is at risk, Labour have made it clear they will stop all construction projects and not commit to this rebuild which is ready to start. On the 4th July, you have a choice to make. Vote for me, an MP who will deliver a new Whipps Cross Hospital or a Labour MP who lives in Brent and who is more interested in Westminster politics than getting our new hospital built.
