It is seriously damaging when a public voice like you, constantly get things wrong and do not communicate facts as they happen: The Cambridge Working Group did not exist in 2010. It formed in July 2014, and its 200-plus signatories came later. Its statement did not call for banning publication or mention some biological-weapons “manual.” It asked for experiments creating potential pandemic pathogens to be curtailed pending a proper risk-benefit assessment. The separate publication dispute happened in 2011-12. Scientists were divided. The federal biosecurity board initially recommended withholding certain details, but after reviewing revised papers and additional evidence, it ultimately recommended full communication of both. Fauci himself also supported continuing the voluntary moratorium while the unresolved policy questions were examined. Obama’s 2014 action was a responsible, targeted pause on new federal funding for certain influenza, SARS and MERS experiments following serious laboratory-safety incidents. His administration then conducted a government-wide risk review and, before leaving office, established the policy guidance for stricter federal oversight. It lasted more than three years, not two. And who formally lifted it in December 2017? The Trump administration. Fauci did not “override” 200 scientists. This involved the White House science office, HHS, NIH, NSABB and the National Academies. You are simply deleting every institution from the record until Fauci becomes the only character left in your conspiracy. You are a dangerous person, and someone should stop you from doing this!
