He had blood dripping from his hand as he walked to the locker room. I think this is the most serious of thumb injuries.

Anything thumb related catches my attention. Also, haven't taken the time to admire your helmet collection so let me just do that now.

Almost positive I saw blood on that hand as he walked to the locker room so I assume it was an open dislocation. Probably means there’s ligament damage too?

As someone that follows all injuries year over year is this considered a really bad injury year? Or just another NFL season.

I believe the Last shot of him walking into the locker room showed blood on his hand from the mcp joint area.. does this match up with this diagnosis? Just curious.

CSS in 2024 🤯 You can create a range slider with updating value tooltip and color changing track without using any JavaScript 🤯 ::-webkit-slider-thumb{ view-timeline: --thumb inline; } Scroll animation on the slider thumb that animates a number between the "min" and "max" of the range 😅 @property --value { syntax: ' '; } @keyframes sync { to { --value: 100; }} Tie that up to the contain animation-range ⚡️ .control { animation: sync both linear reverse; animation-timeline: --thumb; animation-range: contain; } Hoist the view timeline so the tooltip can use the value too! :root { timeline-scope: --thumb; } Then use it in the counter which goes in the tooltip 😇 .tooltip { counter-reset: val var(--value); } .tooltip::after { content: counter(val); } Then the accent color is based on the value too 🎨 [type=range] { accent-color: hsl(var(--value) 90% 65%); } The magic from the quoted post is using anchor positioning on the range thumb to position that tooltip 👏 Never thought of that when working on the spec for this API. This API lets you tether elements to other elements. Using the pseudo is a clever move! ::-webkit-slider-thumb { anchor-name: --thumb; } .tooltip { position: absolute; anchor-default: --thumb; left: anchor(50%); bottom: calc(anchor(top) + 25%); } The last piece is the little bounce transition... OK. I used a line or two of JavaScript for that 🙏😬 const updateDelta = ({ movementX }) => { document.documentElement.style.setProperty('--delta-x', movementX) } document.body.addEventListener('pointermove', updateDelta) But only so you can pass the movement delta to CSS and then reset the position with linear() to get that bouncy transition 😎 .hint { rotate: calc(clamp(-60, var(--delta-x) * -1, 60) * 1deg); transition: rotate 1s linear( 0, 0.2178 2.1%, 1.1144 8.49%, ... ); } Should probably do a video on this one. Lots of little tricks to break down with it for sure! 💯 As always, any questions, let me know! Also, this one only works in Chrome Canary with the Experimental Web Platform Features flag enabled ✅ This one almost feels like rocket science ha 🚀 CodePen.IO link below! 👇

A list of Dallas Stars injuries during the 2025-26 season: Mikko Rantanen – MCL tear at Olympics (never really got going again, would’ve been nice to have two or so more weeks rehab and had to wear a brace) – no surgery needed, he’ll have time to heal now. Oskar Back – wrist injury in October, sprained shoulder in playoffs no surgery Nathan Bastian – broke his finger – had surgery – would’ve been available 2nd round Jamie Benn – Training camp, collapsed lung and concussion Lian Bichsel - Fracture to his leg in his ankle area; sprained shoulder in game 6 Michael Bunting - Groin injury Matt Duchene – Concussion early in season, long time to recover Adam Erne – MCL sprain in December Radek Faksa – Concussion at Olympics – suffered foot laceration, messing with his foot function. Had surgery, may require further surgery – ligament cut, stepped on a skate, seeing a specialist. Thomas Harley – Broken foot, November Miro Heiskanen – Oblique tear vs. Wild (April); sprained his ankle in the playoffs Roope Hintz – Sick during Olympics, first game back double tear in his hamstring – we didn’t know the time frame because of extent of injury – close to returning, then reinjured – no surgery needed Arttu Hyry – High ankle sprain in Game 5 Nils Lundkvist - Fracture to leg and ankle – identical injury to Bichsel. Facial laceration in playoffs. Stitches inside and outside, had a concussion as well. Possibly could’ve returned Game 7 or 2nd round return Tyler Seguin – Torn ACL (Jan.) The Road to Recovery: Understanding Burnout Healing Timelines TLDR: It takes about 2 years of diligent work to recover from burnout... but you can absolutely make it take longer... The burnout recovery timeline nobody tells you about... After struggling with burnout for almost a decade, I've finally mapped the real recovery journey. It's longer than most people think, but understanding these timelines saved my sanity. Mild burnout can resolve in about 6 months with proper rest. My first burnout took 4 months of doing absolutely nothing but playing video games before I started feeling better. Severe burnout? That's a 2-year journey with the right interventions. Without them, it can become permanent - I learned this the hard way when I still wasn't better after 3 years of "trying to recover." CFS or complete collapse is a 3-5 year road, sometimes with permanent changes. Each system in your body recovers at its own pace: Your gut might take 2 weeks to clear pathogens, but 6 months to heal damage and 2 years for complete microbiome restoration. Your adrenals respond to adaptogens within weeks, but need 2 years for full reconditioning as your brain physically remodels and stress hormones normalize. Your nervous system takes 2-4 weeks for initial stabilization, 3-6 months for improved vagal tone, and 1-2 years to reprogram anxiety responses. Your mitochondria (energy factories) recover fastest - noticeable improvement in 2-4 weeks, and major function returned in 2-3 months with proper support. Your immune system takes 1-3 months to begin reducing inflammation, 6-12 months to calm brain inflammation, and 18-24 months for complete balance. The #1 recovery killer? Impatience. I kept my burnout going by always pushing through, exercising harder, working more. Your body knows how to heal - you just need to create the right conditions and give it time.

If you’re an investing beginner, you MUST watch this video. If you’re an advanced investor, watch it as a reminder. Peter Lynch is the most successful Fund Manager of all time. He uses these 45 minutes to cover 95% of all of investing! My Key Takeaways: 1. Personal Edge - Look for the fields in which you have a knowledge benefit. Working in an industry, being a customer, all of that is an advantage. 2. The Key Organ for Investing: The Stomach - Investing is not about brains. It’s about having the stomach. “The real key to making money in stocks is not to get scared out of them.” - Peter Lynch 3. Categories - Categories and labels are guidelines, not hard rules. Successful investing is about flexibility. 4. P/E Rule of Thumb - Stocks follow Earnings Fairly Priced: P/E equals annual growth rate over the next 3-5 years. Expensive: P/E extensively higher than annual growth rate over the next 3-5 years. Cheap: P/E extensively lower than annual growth rate over the next 3-5 years. 5. Balance Sheet Rules of Thumb - Is the BS healthy? a) Cash should be higher than Short-Term Debt b) If Cash - Short-term Debt - Long-Term Debt is only 1/4 of Net worth, the BS is decent c) Total Debt should equal 20% of capitalization or less 6. Focus on Stories - Stock prices move with the stories told about the companies. Have a long-term story for every company you own and check if it plays out. 7. Profit from Chaos - A market decline of at least 10% occurs every two years. Pick up your high-conviction bets at a discount when this happens. 8. Forget about Macroeconomics - Focus on business growth, not GDP growth. “If you spend 13 minutes a year on economics, you’ve wasted 10 minutes.” - Peter Lynch
