I soak all fruits and berries for ≈ 15 minutes in baking soda… Not only does it remove pesticides, you’ll also see small insects washed out as well ! 🐜

I feel like baking soda can cure cancer if we figure out how to properly apply it

Would like to see another test with just water w/o baking soda. Also wondering if the residual baking soda is somehow messing with the pesticide test itself & not actually removing the pesticide.

Now if we can find something that completely removes apeel coatings, but to be honest I still might not eat as lipids are a potential vaccine or bioweapon delivery system.

I spray all my vegetables with diluted white vinegar. Any thoughts on the efficacy of this method?

BAKING SODA...The Super Simple Household Item Removes 96% Of Pesticides From Fruits & Vegetables. Researchers At The University Of Massachusetts Tested Various Methods & Discovered The Power Of Baking Soda! Sodium Bicarbonate & Water Solution Effectively Neutralized Pesticides. In a study published in the Journal of Agricultural & Food Chemistry, scientific researchers applied high concentrations of two common pesticides—a fungicide called thiabendazole & an insecticide called phosmet—to organic Gala apples. After the chemicals sat for 24 hours, the researchers tried three different washing methods: 1⃣ Plain tap water 2⃣ 1% baking soda & water mixture. 3⃣ Clorox bleach solution similar to that used by commercial fruit producers. They monitored the pesticide levels on the surface & inside of the fruit after washing with each method. The baking soda & water solution beat out both bleach & tap water. After 12 to 15 minutes of soaking, the formula had removed virtually all external pesticides, as well as some that had begun to seep below the fruit’s surface. The washing removed 96% of the pesticides. “If factory washing [with bleach] is already effective, then we don’t need to care about washing at home, right?...But it turns out that factory-level washing is not effective,” says study author Lili He, a food scientist at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. “Factory level washing with bleach removes dirt, bacteria & pathogens, it does not remove pesticides or wax.” Baking Soda & water creates an alkaline ph environment which effectively dissolves pesticides & waxes from produce. 1 Teaspoon & up to 1 Tablespoon mixed into 2 cups of purified water is the perfect alkaline solution mixture to remove up to 96% of pesticides from the surface of fruits & vegetables.
