BANG! See the pancake stack? This was the most beautiful pancake stacked supercell i have ever chased. Of course this mothership was hovering over Saskatchewan last night, the Land of the Living Skies. This supercell had a #tornado warning issued and produced a few funnel clouds. We expect greater...

Check out the most insane tornadic supercell structure I have ever seen from underneath! This was just after the first #tornado intercept and before the second tornado. See the striated vault of this monster supercell? Megan 🇮🇪 #stormchasing #Dominator

CONE #TORNADO intercepted by Team Dominator west of Quail, Texas! We are on the board for 2026. We had to dig this one out of the northern supercell of a pair, just as this supercell was getting nudged by a trailer! Meanwhile, a supercell dropped at least a few large dangerous tornadoes near Cleo Springs and Jet, Oklahoma #stormchasing #dangerous LocalMan Weather

WATCH the most beautiful tornadic supercell in the World near Harvey, North Dakota tonight! We botched this chase bad, leaving our target area of South Dakots, but were rewarded with this insane supercell at sunset. This storm dropped a #tornado north of Turtle Lake #stormchasing #Dominator

See the big explosion?! On this day, 4 years ago, i was getting ready to intercept the Andover, Kansas #tornado by ground and air. A tornado warning had not yet been issued, and the fire chief was watching this unfold on my FB live stream, and sounded the sirens. Miraculously, there were no lives lost from this tornado #stormchasing #Dominator

This is one of five EF5 tornadoes i have chased. This #tornado happened during the Super Outbreak of 2011 and dug a trench in the ground, two-feet deep, near Philadelphia, Mississippi. Note the smooth, compact laminar structure of the supercell and tornado #stormchasing #EF5

Team Dominator chased 4-5 tornadoes on a LONG-TRACK supercell from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri through Kentucky. We also saw the Sikeston, MO #tornado but I was driving the Dominator 3. These are the Kentucky tornadoes. This supercell sadly went on to cause significant damage in Somerset and London, Kentucky including fatalities. 14 fatalities have been reported across southern Kentucky from last night’s #tornado outbreak

25 years ago, today, on May 3, 1999, arguably the strongest #tornado in History tore through communities like Bridge Creek, Moore, and south OKC. Here was our chase of this infamous #tornado as 18 year old freshman at OU. Still to this day, this is the most powerful and structurally textbook tornadic supercell I have ever chased. It was a lesson in tornado / supercell structure and in the dark side these tornadoes leave behind that is the damage and loss of life/property. Hopefully, we never see an event like this ever again

🌪️ Massive tornado just captured by Reed Timmer. “The most amazing tornado intercept ever in the Dominator! WE ARE IN DANGER!” ⚠️ The inflow of the powerful tornado was pulling the Dominator in to the destructive core flow by the mirrors and hood! This tornado was just west of Gary, Minnesota. The tornado narrowly missed a house at peak intensity. “This is the most insane tornado I have ever seen in my 30 year career.”

We measured a 124 mph wind in the south side of this powerful #tornado west of Braman, Oklahoma last Thursday! This tornado was rated an EF1 with estimated peak winds of 85 mph. Should we, one day, add the Dominator 3 as a damage indicator? #stormchasing #Dominator

On this day, three years ago, I intercepted this insane #tornado by drone and by rental car. This was a bit of a gamble on the forecast, since the moderate risk was to the north of southern Kansas, but I figured we would need the more westerly winds aloft to capitalize on the strong low-level shear. This supercell barely was able to remain surface based near the magic hour, but got over the hump and dropped a tornado quickly. This storm did not have a tornado warning at the time, but the local firefighters were watching the live stream here on Facebook and sounded the tornado sirens - likely saving countless lives. Never stop chasing

Listen to the roar of this powerful EF5 tornado in Philadelphia, MS during the Super Outbreak of April 27, 2011. This tornado was one of the loudest I have heard next to the Bakersfield, MO tornado from Friday night. This tornado dug a trench in the clay that was two feet deep, and was one of the first tornadoes of the afternoon mode of the outbreak. Notice the lack of milky skies around this tornado with an EML advancing over a large warm sector

Watch this big-time #tornado intercept in the Dominator 3! We measured a 120 mph wind inside the suction vortex as the tornado planted. Later that night, a powerful tornado struck Valley View, Texas. Tornado Alley has been so back. We are watching the October 20-23 window for the start of the fall severe weather season! Live Dominator mode will be back soon.
