Banning TikTok isn’t the solution to data privacy concerns. Instead, Congress needs to focus on regulating social media companies’ unchecked habit of collecting user data without their consent.

AOC is a clear and present danger to US National Security. What an uninformed take.

Why won't you reject the obvious McCarthyism and sinophobia, not to mention the tech war against China, that this is really all about? Silence is *violence.*

Nah TikTok should be outright banned cause I don’t trust China collecting our data.

Or! We could end the patriot act and let people choose if they wanna be on TikTok.

No offense, but why don't we ever see Democrats acknowledge serious problems, like inflation or war, and then offer sensible solutions... ...instead of always obsessing over trivial things like internet privacy, bank fees, seat sizes on planes???

How about you go do the job that your voters elected you to do? That starts with things like, Anti-Corruption, Medicare For All, Green New Deal, Workers Rights, Student Loan Forgiveness, and others. Will playing pat-a-cake on TikTok get those done?

The TikTok Digital Trojan Horse…constructed by Xi himself. It’s so obvious what the CPC is doing…who knows which lobbyist got to the former bartender?

These aren’t mutually exclusive

Aside of the whole CCP spyware thing, the biggest issue with TikTok is it’s addictiveness. It is like a casino slot machine made for children and adolescents. It’s horrendous for their mental health, even worse than US platforms:

And to be brutally honest, the Chinese are highly unlikely to get any “intelligence” from TikTok users.
