The woman had her receipt on hand but the door receipt checker insisted on checking the man’s backpack instead, they refused and walked right by. As they walked by, the receipt checker yells “she hit me!” Costco employees then swarm the woman and her husband and she calls the police because she didn’t feel comfortable being surrounded by hostility. As we post this update, Nina’s keeper is feeding her and she is being comforted by him. She is lying in a comfortable resting position and is snacking on cucumbers. Nina, who has gone through inexpressible horrors all her life, has been amazingly forgiving to humans, and has developed a strong emotional bond with her keeper in a very short time. Our team is at her side day and night to assist whenever she needs them. Our team understands the gravity of the situation and is doing the best to provide Nina with the best medical care. i dont care who you are , if you are a racing person and didnt have a little tear in the eye when George Simon said "go girl" as Legarto hit the front and won her final race start and her 5th Group 1 then you have a heart of stone .What a ride it has been , i spotted her running 4th in a trial at Taupo back in April 22 running home late ,contacted my friend Megan Winter who told me she thought she was very special .She was spot on , 2 months later Legarto debuted at Matamata over 1100m and bolted in 3.5 lengths with Taiki Yanagida on board .She went on to win 4 more races in a row including the 5 length win in the G1 1000 Guineas at Riccarton.Unlucky 4th in the karaka millions mile when she got knocked over at the top of the straight then she was then off to Melbourne for what was, in my opinion Legartos "Piece de resistance " beating the best 3yos in the G1 Australian Guineas ,flying home as usual and getting up in the last few strides ,with Mick Dee in the saddle . .She then won the Group 1 Herbie Dyke as a 4yo , missed a lot of her 5 yo campaign because of injury , then came back and finished off her career with back to back group 1s with Opie Bosson riding as a 6yo . 24 starts 12 wins 5 at Group 1 level and 3.5 million in prizemoney . Lulu goes out like all champions should on a high note .Incredible horse trained by elite trainers Ken and Bev Kelso and she was looked after by her best friend and track rider Megan Winter Megan Winter for her entire career .Happy retirement Lulu
