These tankers had been actively used to transport oil – not anymore. I am grateful to Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov for leading the operation, to the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, and to our Navy for consistently delivering effective results. Our warriors have achieved good results in applying long-range sanctions against important facilities on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. More than 700 kilometers from our state border, in Russia’s Yaroslavl region, SSU warriors struck an oil facility that was important for the reserves of the aggressor state. Warriors of our army reached their targets in Russia’s Tula region – specifically, the Azot plant, whose operations are critical to explosives production capabilities. Air traffic restrictions were imposed at six Russian airports, and overall, since yesterday evening, 28 regions of Russia have been under air raid alerts. There were also hits on the occupier’s military logistics in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Ukraine is carrying out its plan of long-range sanctions against Russia and the assigned tasks regarding mid-range strikes in response to Russia’s refusal to end this war. We have offered the Russian leadership every possible format for negotiations – and the only response was continued aggression and attempts to expand it. Losses on Russia’s own territory thanks to our long-range strikes. The most effective sanctions – the ones that work the fastest – are the fires at Russia’s oil refineries, its terminals, oil depots. To significantly restrict Russia’s oil industry is to significantly restrict the war. Russia’s war is essentially a function of oil, of gas, of all its other energy resources. I thank the special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine, who did a great job in Primorsk recently, hitting Russia’s largest oil terminal on the Baltic Sea. There is substantial damage; everything has been verified. And this is tangible for the enemy. Our special forces are also keeping an eye on the port of Ust-Luga and all other Russian points of access to the world market. Today, the Security Service of Ukraine’s drones are capable of operating at distances of more than a thousand kilometres. The Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Defense Intelligence are also involved. I thank them all for their accuracy.

We are now conducting one of our counter-offensive operations at the Donetsk direction – in the Pokrovsk and Dobropillia areas. Russian losses just since the start of this counter-offensive – in the Pokrovsk area alone, in these past weeks – are already more than 2,500, of which over 1,300 have been killed. Ukraine continues applying long‑range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the warriors of our Defense Forces hit targets across different regions of Russia that are fueling this war. Once again, a plant in Kirov was struck – the one supplying components for the weapons Russia uses to attack our people. That’s about 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. Also hit were an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov‑on‑Don. We also achieved very strong results with long‑range strikes in the Caspian Sea – including vessels used in military cargo shipments involving Iran, as well as a warship. Thank you for these results!
