Hi there, this area is actually affected by a few different outages. Crew are currently on their way and should be arriving on site at the first outage shortly. They'll tackle the second large outage in the area after that.

Our focus today has been on assessing damage from the storm and restoring power to critical infrastructure—like hospitals—and main electrical feeders, like in #Yarmouth as seen here today. When wind speeds are over 80km an hour, it isn’t safe for our crews to be up in the buckets and so we focus on assessing damage, responding to 911 calls, and restoring power from the ground where possible. It is expected the remaining affected customers will be restored by early this morning. I have called an emergency meeting with JPS for noon today at the jps command center which will be followed by a press briefing. I have been closely monitoring the situation all night and will continue to do so until full restoration is completed. I commit to keeping the nation advised and updated on this UNACCEPTABLE SITUATION.
