You guys never learned from the thousands of other storms. Manage the trees, reduce the impact. You guys suck so bad. Thankfully it’s only like less than 12 hours of wind and not days in a row. BC hydro is incompetent

Hi there, we understand outages are frustrating and disruptive. We prepare year-round and have stepped up our vegetation management program in recent years given the drought and weather-related challenges. Crews perform regular maintenance work to help minimize the impact adverse weather can have on the electricity system. This includes inspecting trees and other tall vegetation growing near our infrastructure to identify potential problems.

The power outage threatened my job and no one will be responsible for my financial loss, but one day late in paying the electricity bill will face an immediate response from BC Hydro. This is not fair
