Guessing app's PIN using Flipper Zero as #BadUSB This "App Locker" app protects access to user selected apps - in this case, Instagram - using PIN code. It is possible to guess it with unlimited attempts, because the app developers haven't implemented brute-force protection and even timeout after few incorrect entered passwords. The app only allows to set 4 digit PIN. This allows us to try 10,000 PINs with unlimited attempts. After every try is 0.5 second delay. Because of that, it would take us 84 minutes to rotate through all the PIN combinations. ✅If you decide to use such an app lock protector, make sure not to use easy to guess and common passwords. If you are a developer, I advise you to implement a brute-force protection that includes timeout. #FlipperZero #Android #bruteforce

The media incorrectly reported that an elderly woman was locked in a Tesla because it was on Pet Mode. What a shocker that the media reported information incorrectly. Pet Mode does not disable the ability to open the doors from the inside. It disables the windows and that is it. Child lock disables the rear doors only and that feature can be enabled or disabled and used with Pet Mode.

This right here is exactly what I felt when I tried switching my main phone from iPhone to Android last year. The apps on Android are so bad they don’t even feel like they’re made for your phone. Plus many apps on Android simply lack a lot of features compared to iOS. For example, on WhatsApp on iOS, I can quickly swipe left on a message in a group chat to see which members have received and/or read my message. On Android, it takes a long press and 2 additional taps to access the same info. This was such a deal breaker for me who’s in a lot of group chats.
