Absolutely love this! thanks for giving Figma Motion a try. Let us know what challenges you still face or what features you'd like to see next, we have some pretty cool stuff coming mega soon...

ofc, david! a way to export the keyframes or "Copy prompt" for this the way i can copy css in Dev Mode would be great. unless it would just work via figma mcp by copying the frame link?

When you use the Figma MCP the motion context will all be pulled including keyframe data and easings. Try copying the link to the Figma frame and asking your agent... Any issues give me a shout!

love it. @figma motion is so powerful with the agent. and I've been using it in a similar way where just prompting to get the code you need to take it elsewhere.

@figma it's been a lot of fun to play with! how are you exporting code from figma motion?

@figma My bad, I was thinking about the shaders and the agent. I could get the code for those. Never tried it with motion and getting the prompt to replicate makes more sense.

very helpful / been trying to get further up the figma motion > cursor flow recently so this is timely

just want to make sure i'm not missing something and this isn't already exportable/copyable from Dev Mode or something? Does figma mcp work for figma motion frames too?

Sweet. Haven’t used Figma motion at all but this workflow is clean, will have to dig into it soon. My biggest hurdle with Figma right now is how quickly it’ll burn through tokens. Have you ran into that much with this workflow?

I feel the Figma agent isn’t really effective for use in motion. Tried it and didn’t like the output. I do the motion manually
