When President Trump talks about a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as a way to "kill Iran's economy," we need to remember who stands behind Iran's resilience. Above all, it is China, and not only as a buyer of oil, but as a strategic partner that benefits from Iran remaining a destabilizing force in the Middle East. Russia, of course, as well, but Russia is bogged down in Ukraine. Iran is a tool. For China, Iran serves one simple purpose: to keep the Middle East in a state of chronic instability, which costs the US money, attention, and reputation. ◾️ First, the Iran war is pulling American potential away from Asia right now. The US has deployed the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, two destroyers, two naval task forces, and Patriot and THAAD systems to the Middle East, depleting its stockpile of Tomahawk cruise missiles, which are critical for a potential Taiwan scenario. ◾️ Second, the crisis translates into a blow to the American authority and concessions. Every Middle Eastern war weakens the trust of Asian allies in the United States. Japan and South Korea are already experiencing delays in deliveries of ordered US weapons. Taiwan is watching as Washington trades off its security for the sake of a summit with Beijing: Trump delayed a multi-billion-dollar arms package to Taiwan so as not to jeopardize the summit with President Xi. ◾️ Third, China is the sole beneficiary of the oil blockade of Iran. According to US officials, the Chinese company SMIC supplied Iranian military structures with equipment for chip production and, likely, technical training. Ships carrying sodium perchlorate - a key component of solid rocket fuel - were set to depart from Chinese ports. Iran was also nearing a deal to purchase Chinese CM-302 supersonic anti-ship missiles, which pose a direct threat to US ships in the Gulf. And US intelligence is now recording possible preparations to transfer MANPADS to Iran via third countries. Some claims regarding deeper support, particularly concerning BeiDou and Chinese air defense systems, remain disputed, but the overall direction is clear: China is helping Iran not only survive under pressure but also raise the cost of the US military presence in the region. There is a plan for this war and it’s working out exactly as America wants it to. Trumps post tonight is yet more proof of it. The prevailing narrative is that America doesn’t know what it’s doing. That argument is BS. This isn’t about Iran. America is resetting the global order and moving forward quickly with the Greater North America plan. It is the end of globalism as we know it. 1. Middle East - Iran is now choking the strait (tolls, threats) causing Middle Eastern oil to become less desirable (not a reliable source). Ramifications of the war will continue for years. Iran has attacked other Middle Eastern powers, now all on edge and openly aggressive. Iran weakened enough it can’t get nukes, but not enough it can’t cause serious problems. Continued chaos in the Strait for the foreseeable, bad for oil business in the Middle East (see oil leaders mtg Trump). Great for American oil. 2. Europe - As energy crisis hits, Europe becomes more reliant on American oil and gas (due to above), good leverage for negotiations and long term debt ceiling (initially a worry) as europe is forced to buy more US debt if it wants energy deals. Ukraine war good long term as it knocks out Russia as energy supplier to Europe and keeps Russians weakened in attrition. Who does Europe turn to for oil? Only supplier left is America who now controls one of the largest oil producers in the world, Venezuela. 3. China - America is in a serious trade/tariff war with China, its biggest rising global threat. 45% of China’s oil comes from the strait. Venezuela’s largest oil buyer was China (50%-80%). Who now has the upper hand in that negotiation? Mid-term, China has to play USA’s game. 4. Greenland - NATO allies predictably failed to help, proves Trumps point they can’t be relied upon protect Greenland (take UK battleship already out of commission as an example) - don’t forget allies were all briefed that the war in Iran was coming, they walked into the trap. UK is a prime example, ask why so much focus from Trump on its failure to help? Because it’s a massive European power and the “special relationship” is a symbolic target. 5. South America (separate from Iran war but part of the same plan) - USA has already begun working on removing enemies and anti-US regimes. At this point, it is fair to say that in his rush to make a deal with the Islamic Republic, President Trump has not only betrayed the Iranian people, but has also turned his back on Israel — America’s most important ally in the Middle East. Once again, we warn the free world: no agreement with the terrorists of the Islamic Republic will ever last. They use negotiations for one purpose only — to buy time and survive.
