Being selective about our lumber can make all the difference in the finished product, searching for an actual lumberyard in our vicinity can save us a lot of aggravation by not having to sift hrough stacks of lumber only to find 2 x’s warped, split and full of knots. There is a high likelihood this lumber is imported, lumberyards more than likely utilize American sawmillers processing American trees. Lumberyards more than likely keep these different types separated so they can point builders in the right direction, we are going to pay up for this lumber but as the old saying goes you cannot put a price on quality.show more
