21 yr old gets delivered from an LGBTQ+ lifestyle by Jesus Christ ✝️ Jesus can change anyone! “if you couldn’t tell by the end i really needed that hug. i felt the pull of Jesus really hard alone in a room and decided to try it out considering i’ve tried EVERYTHING else and nothing was making me happy. he has shown to me how real he really is and when i thought i knew who i was, God showed me who i really am. and i’m happier, my life has purpose and i no longer have hate for myself. all it took was one try and he changed my life from that moment forward. if out of ALL PEOPLE he could change MY life for the better.. he could do it for anyone.. you guys know me and you know i wouldn’t change for anyone and no one could change me. a lot can change in one day. but i didn’t change myself when i went to God to try him out and opened the bible. just as you don’t go into a shower already clean. you go in as you are and come out clean. he says come as you are. so don’t think you have to look or be a certain way to come to him and to believe in him. because it’s not true. he’s for everyone and he actually came to break people from being too religious. don’t let church hurt hold you back. he never wanted you to be hurt and that wasn’t him. i was very into myself and prideful of who i was and this isn’t because someone forced me to go to church or because i was brainwashed. it was because i genuinely fell in love with Jesus and he’s in love with you too. you just need to open your eyes to see it. #jesussaves” - Benjamin

My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. Tarantino explains… “I wrote Jackie Brown, and I decided at some point in writing the script that Robert Forster would be terrific as Max Cherry. So, while I’m still writing the script, I bump into Robert Forster - we go to the same coffee shop. ….so I decided I’m gonna give him the part, because I figure, look, this would be a big, big deal part. So if I don’t give him the part, then once I’m done with it and it gets out in the town, then it’s gonna be Gene Hackman and Paul Newman and people like that, and it would be pretty hard to say no to. But if I just give him the part right now, I’ve got the juice to get it through, and now I can’t take it back because I wouldn’t be a man of my word. So to lock myself into that decision, I give it to him before I finish writing it. And then now comes the time to do it. Robert De Niro reads it, and he wants to be in it, but he wants to play Max. And I go, “Well, look, you would be a fantastic Max, but I’ve already given that to Robert Forster, and I’m a man of my word. I can’t take it back.” Now, De Niro is very much a man of his word, so he understands that. He gets that. And he’s just like, “Yeah, yeah. That’s just disappointing. It’s just regretful.” I go, “What?” “Well, just because, you know, you were thinking about him, so you wrote it for him. But if we had had more dinners and hung out a little bit more, then you would have been thinking about me and you would have written it for me. And I understand what happened, but that could have been changed if we had spent more time with each other before this.” And so he kind of gives me the – “just think about it for a couple of days, all right? - and then let’s talk again. Maybe Bob (Robert Foster) could play Louis, the other guy.” So then I actually have Bob read Louis with me, and then read Max. And if that could work, maybe that could work. But no, everything that made him perfect for Max made him wrong for Louis. And so I get on the phone with De Niro — and I go, “Yeah, you know, I explored that. But no, everything about him that makes him perfect for Max makes him wrong to play this ex-convict guy.” And he goes, “Yeah, yeah, I get that. I get that, I get that, I get that. Okay, so tell me about this Louis character.” And I go, “You would consider playing Louis?” “Yeah, it’s a good character. It’s a good movie. I wanna be part of it. It’s a good character. I wanted the other character, but yeah, this is a good character. I’d be happy to play it.” I go, “Well, you didn’t let me know that before.” He goes, “Well, I didn’t wanna let you off the hook. I wanted you on the hook. But now if that ship has sailed, then let’s talk about Louis.” And then it was a done deal.”

Quentin Tarantino recounts a dinner with Robert De Niro during the making of Jackie Brown, where he asked him whether he understood when he landed the role of Vito in The Godfather Part II, that it would change his life. De Niro’s answer revealed a great deal about his mindset at the time. “I was working with Robert De Niro on Jackie brown, and we went out to dinner once. - When he got Vito in the Godfather Part II, that was going to be a big thing for him. He won the Oscar for it - it set him up to be a movie star. So I asked him - and I've asked this to quite a few actors when it comes to when they got the role that would end up changing their career - did he realize that the moment when he got the role, that it would have this sort of effect? And he goes oh, “I tried not to let it do that. I tried not to think about that” I go, "really? and why did you try not to think about that?" “Well because I’ve seen it happen and then go the other way” And then he used an example. “There was this guy, he was a young actor, and he was part of our crowd in New York. He'd been doing okay, but we were all in the same boat. Then all of a sudden he got a lead role. He's one of the two leads in a brand new movie by a director who had just done a smash hit.” And he's talking about Larry Pierce (the director) and uh... Goodbye Columbus. ”And he started dining out on it. And all of a sudden I go to the places that we used to go to, and now he's there and everyone's kind of revolving around him. He's kind of holding court. He's not doing anything bad; he's just arisen in the way that none of us have - and we're all treating him different. Then the movie comes out; nobody likes it - The movie comes out, and it goes away, and he's exactly in the same place he was. And I just wanted to make sure that that would never happen to me because I watched it happen to him.” Quote from Video Archives Podcast, sourced from James Whale Bake Sale YouTube channel. I went sourcing for my rent, and I came back home a Landlord. My rent was due since March, I had pleaded with the landlord to give me some time to sort it out, and he had been patient. Business was not doing very well, and we were depending on my wife’s earnings to survive. I have a big brother who grew up in our neighbourhood. He was an artist at the time, and I used to hang around him while he worked. I developed an interest in artwork because of him, and he was my inspiration for studying sculpture and other art forms, which led me to become who I am today. This man had become a politician in another state. I had not seen him in several years, but we exchange messages via text and WhatsApp once in a while, especially regarding some artworks and politics. I never gave him the impression that I was struggling because I felt it would affect our relationship but I was desperate this time around and decided to go and see him. During the Night of Glory, as we ministered to the Lord and words of prophecy were being spoken, the man of God said “I have given it to you, I have supplied you with that heart desire. That thing you have been waiting for and trusting God for is now yours. Share your testimony with me when you receive it.” I heard these words from brother Gbenga, and I couldn’t relate. The only thing I had been thinking about in my heart was how to visit this mentor of mine and ask him for support regarding my rent. I decided that the prophecy was a green light for me to take a step of faith I gathered as much money as my wife could loan me and travelled to this man’s state. I deliberately targeted the primary election period when I was sure he would have to be on the ground in his state and not in Abuja. I met him at home; he had just won his primary election and was in a very good mood. He felt i came around to give him moral support. Later that evening, I told him about my rent issue. He made two calls and told me to go and pick up the keys to the house in Lagos. He also gave me some money to settle all the estate bills and meet other needs. Above all, he gave me a contract that will keep me and my team occupied with good income for a very long time. This is how God turned my story to a song of victory. I picked up the keys to the house yesterday. Glory!!!!!

Can any of my friends from the Boomer Generation answer this for me? Why are the Boomers so offended when ask to see their ID? This bank teller was explaining how she goes through this all the time. They always tell her that they’ve been banking there longer than she’s been alive. Showing an ID is just a simple measure to prevent fraud and theft, yet they yell at her for it. I ask because this happens to me all the time, even on the phone. Back at the pizza shop I would have an elderly man call in an order for food and most of the time he picks it up himself, no problem at all. However he started sending other people to pick it up as well as have other people calling the order. When the person picking up shows me his card which I recognize his name which had his photo on it, I won’t accept it without and ID as well, just a precaution. He then had to come all the way down there just to yell at me because obviously it’s for him and I shouldn’t have hassled him. I tried to explain to him when he calls it in and picks it up I know it’s him. However when others call it in and pick it up, I can’t verify if it’s actually legit or not, what if somebody stole his card and tried to use it. He still had an issue with it and explains that his grandkids should be able to use his card, I tell him that’s not how it works and if he kept giving my staff a hard time I would ban him from the store. I don’t need anybody threatening the workers over something meant to protect him. Should I just have let anybody use his card without verification at the shop? What if somebody did steal his card and spent his money, then he would have been mad at me for letting them do it.

Joe Rogan issues a HEARTFELT apology to Theo Von over his recent comments: “I apologized to Theo. He knows I love him and he said that and we laughed and we joked around about it and I apologized for the way I talked about this. But I felt like I needed to explain to other people too, to get what was going on in my mind out and it certainly wasn’t like covering for Israel and it wasn’t trying to paint him out like he’s damaged or treat him like a child.” “I just want him to be okay. And when you’re dealing with someone, or when you have had experience dealing with someone where it winds up going very badly, and then you’re just left with this feeling, like, what could I have done? You know, I didn’t do a good job of it, especially the Marcus King thing. That’s terrible what I did. I didn’t mean to.” “I was just trying to—you don’t think sometimes when you are in the middle of a podcast. You’re having a conversation, you don’t think about the impact that it’s gonna have. That’s one of the reasons why, you know, podcasts are so weird because like you’re in the middle of trying to be entertaining, but you’re also just having a conversation and I f*cked up because I felt so badly about it. It was like there’s got to be a way to address this where I just express myself and so that’s why we’ve never done this before.” “We’ve never done this kind of a thing after a podcast, but it was very important to me. He’s an awesome person, a great friend, and one of the most interesting and funny people I’ve ever met in my life. And I just felt terrible about it. And I told them I would never bring it up publicly again, but I think it is important to let people know that aspect of it.” “So I’m gonna call him and clear this with him and make sure he’s cool with me saying this, but I’m pretty sure he is gonna be. And that’s it… I’m a human and I’m flawed like all of us and I f*ck up and it’s probably not the last time. It’s definitely not. I’m going to f*ck up again. But my intention is never to hurt anybody, ever. And that’s why I mean I very rarely if ever even get upset at anyone other than like corrupt politicians. But I do my best to just try to be a good person, spread positivity.”

What would you have done if you were in her shoes?👀🤔 “Imagine your phone went bad and to fix your phone is over 450k and then you told the person you were dating because your phone is your only source of income and he was like he does not have any money at the moment that he will give you the money next two weeks and you told him that you cannot be without your phone for two weeks that even if he has half of the money he can give you so you can be able to rally round and get the money because you have a lot of pending deals to deliver on the phone, and he insisted he doesn’t have anything to give you not even 10k.
