Bengaluru Infra: Inaugurate & Scoot Why does Bengaluru have such poor infrastructure? Because MLAs take voters for granted without accountability. They simply hold inaugurations without concrete work. Here’s an example: On October 29, Hon. MLA Manjula Aravind Limbavali inaugurated a 951 crore PWD project meant to transform East Bengaluru,...

Panattur ROB mess!! CM visits. Aravind Limbavali confesses. Manjula Aravind Limbavali is not seen anywhere. Mr Aravind Limbavali openly accepted, when BJP Karnataka was in power. Mr B.S.Yeddyurappa approved the Sobha Apartment without even having a road. While I appreciate your honesty, I have a few questions for you. 1. Why would a CM intervene in a building approval at Mahadevapura constituency? Isn't it the job of Kingroyal Giriş? Were you guys overriding BBMP? 2. You were the MLA since the last 3 terms. Why didn't you raise people's voices with Mr. Yediyurappa and stop the project? 3. You let the mishap happen and now acting helpless. Did the people of Mahadevapura vote you to do this or fight for our rights in the assembly? You couldn't influence your own government, how will you influence the Karnataka Congress government in getting funds for our assembly? By the way where is our real MLA Manjula Aravind Limbavali??? Subject: Urgent Request to Conduct BBMP Election | Day 76/100 Demand Respected Siddaramaiah,DK Shivakumar, Today marks the 76th day of our call for the immediate conduct of BBMP elections. In the attached video, desperate commuters are seen navigating through a waterlogged, narrow road in East Bengaluru—a suburb where over 60% of India’s IT companies are located. This road, originally a village cart lane, has become a primary route without adequate drainage or infrastructure. A single rain is enough to flood it, yet it continues to be used as a main thoroughfare. This isn’t the fault of IT workers, as some might claim; rather, it’s a failure in urban planning. The government has permitted housing projects in this area without ensuring the necessary public amenities. As more land is concretized, the opportunity to widen roads or improve infrastructure diminishes. While some argue that public transport is the solution, they overlook the fact that buses still need at least two lanes to operate effectively. The current state of affairs is unacceptable and is damaging our city’s long-term growth. The need for a democratic setup in Bengaluru is more urgent than ever. We must have proper governance and planning to prevent further deterioration. We urge you to prioritize the BBMP elections to ensure that our city can thrive. Yours sincerely, Concerned Citizens of Bengaluru #ConductBBMPElection #BrandBengaluru #ITSlum #bengalururains Office of the OSD to CM Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS

🚨Bridge Theft in Bengaluru!🚨 Respected Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar, We, the proud citizens of Bengaluru, are fed up with the continuous collapse of bridges in Bihar, which are indirectly funded by states like Maharashtra and Karnataka through their generous contributions to the central government's tax collection. Meanwhile, we have completely neglected the fact that an entire bridge was stolen right here in Bengaluru! The stolen bridge was located on Chintalamadivala-Muthanaluru Road, just 5 km from Sarjapur Road. It spanned a 20-foot-wide Rajakaluve that connected Huskur Lake with Singena Agarhara Lake. The Rajakaluve was widened during the KC Valley Project, under the guidance of J Manjunath IAS and led by Capt.Santhosh. K.C.. About 15 days ago, there was a large excavation on the road. We all assumed they would remove the old 3-foot drain pipe and replace it with a proper concrete bridge. However, to our surprise, they removed the pipe, filled it with concrete and soil, and leveled it as if there had never been a bridge there at all! This Rajakaluve dates back to the Chola era, and while the Rajakaluve itself still exists, the connecting bridge has vanished! We are utterly baffled as to who could have executed this audacious robbery! We implore the government to look into this matter immediately. It's a serious theft that cannot be ignored! How many times should taxpayers pay for the same road ? Just 2–3 months after patchwork was carried out, the asphalt has already deteriorated to the point where it’s difficult to even tell that repairs were done. When we spoke to the engineer, we were informed that the earlier work was carried out by BWSSB, and because of poor quality, a fresh estimate is now being considered to repair the same stretch again. This raises some important questions, not just for one road, one constituency, or one department, but the entire city. If public money has already been spent once, who is accountable when the work fails within a matter of months? Was the restoration inspected before being accepted? Have we our such contractor? Does the contractor have a defect liability period or maintenance obligation, and if so, why should taxpayers pay again instead of enforcing those contractual obligations? How much of Bengaluru’s infrastructure budget is being spent on redoing work that should have lasted much longer? This isn’t about targeting any individual or political party. It’s about demanding transparency, quality, and accountability in the use of PUBLIC funds. Every rupee spent comes from the people. Every failed project deserves EXPLANATION. Every contractor and every department responsible for public works should be held to the same standard. Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS Krishna Byre Gowda Bengaluru deserves roads that last not roads that become recurring EXPENSES every few months. We urge the concerned authorities to clarify: • Who executed the original restoration? • What quality checks were conducted? • Will the contractor be held accountable if the work failed prematurely? • What safeguards are in place to prevent taxpayers from paying twice for the same POOR WORK? Let’s make accountability the standard, not the exception. #bangalore #bengaluru #road #gba #bbmp Greater Bengaluru Authority Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS BBMP_SWM Cell bbmpcommissioner DK Shivakumar S. While Bengaluru citizens continue to suffer from water-logged roads, choked drains, and urban flooding, here’s the real reason behind the mess our lakes are not just encroached or neglected, they’re being deliberately turned into dumping grounds by the very people responsible for maintaining the city.Just look at this Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike workers shamelessly throwing garbage into Herohalli Lake. Yes, you read that right. Instead of preserving water bodies, they’re actively polluting them. This is not just negligence it’s a blatant act of environmental destruction. We’re constantly told about “Smart City” missions, lake rejuvenation projects, and sustainable urban development, but this is what’s happening on the ground. Lakes, which should serve as natural buffers for rainwater, are being filled with garbage. Is it any surprise then that the city gets submerged every time it rains? Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS does your team have any basic civic sense or accountability? Is this what taxpayers are funding? Is there any protocol, supervision, or responsibility in place at all? Or has BBMP simply given up on governance? Bengaluru doesn’t deserve this kind of mismanagement. Citizens are doing clean-up drives, raising complaints, and trying to protect the environment while BBMP workers are out there undoing all the good work. We demand immediate action. The workers involved must be held accountable, disciplinary steps must be taken, and the lake must be cleaned and restored. Stop ruining what little is left of Bengaluru’s natural ecosystem. If BBMP can’t even protect a lake, what can it manage #bangalorerains #bangalorerains #bbmp #silkboard #bengaluru #bangalore Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS Tushar Giri Nath, IAS Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA S. Sunroof Shenanigans: Public Road Becomes Private Bedroom for Bengaluru Couple What is truly happening to people these days? In yet another bizarre and concerning incident, a young couple was caught on camera engaging in highly inappropriate behavior through the sunroof of a moving car on Bengaluru’s busy Trinity Road. The footage, which has now gone viral, shows the duo openly kissing and displaying excessive public affection all while the vehicle was in motion, drawing the attention and concern of fellow commuters and pedestrians alike. This reckless act took place under the jurisdiction of the Halasuru Traffic Police, raising not only questions about moral decency in public spaces but also serious concerns about road safety. It is both shocking and disheartening that such behavior is now being flaunted without any fear of consequences, as if public roads have become private lounges for attention-seeking stunts. Not only is this a blatant violation of traffic norms and decency, but it also poses a grave danger to the safety of everyone on the road. Engaging in such irresponsible acts inside a moving vehicle especially through a sunroof is a disaster waiting to happen. One wrong turn, a sudden brake, or a distracted driver could result in fatal consequences. Moreover, this kind of public display is not just disrespectful, it sets a very poor example, especially for younger viewers and children who may witness such acts in public. Freedom and modernity must never come at the cost of safety, decency, and mutual respect in a civil society. It’s high time that authorities take strict action against such reckless behavior and enforce traffic and decency laws more rigorously. Bengaluru is already battling congestion, poor infrastructure, and road safety challenges the last thing the city needs is a culture of careless stunts and irresponsible public behavior. Karnataka State Police HALASURU GATE BCP S. Fun Without Responsibility Is a Curse: Bengaluru Deserves Better Than Drunken Street Chaos This is not the culture of Bengaluru. Do not ruin the image of Namma Bengaluru by turning our roads into places of chaos in the name of parties and New Year celebrations. Seeing youths drunk, falling on the streets, fighting, abusing others, and creating nuisance in public spaces is shameful and unacceptable.Bengaluru has always been known for its culture, civility, and inclusive values. Our city respects and welcomes people from every state and every background who come here to work hard, build their careers, and live peacefully. That openness and mutual respect are what make Bengaluru truly great. However, in the name of celebration, some individuals are ruining this spirit and giving our city a bad image.Celebration does not mean losing self-control. Enjoyment does not give anyone the right to block roads, create fear, disrespect women, damage public property, or disturb others who simply want to live in peace. Such behaviour projects a wrong and ugly image of Bengaluru, not only to locals but also to people across the country and the world. It unfairly puts a bad face on our culture, which has always stood for respect, harmony, and dignity. Those who behave irresponsibly must understand that culture is reflected in conduct, not in loud music, alcohol, or viral videos. If you truly love this city, respect its streets, its people, and its values. Celebrating responsibly is everyone’s duty—whether you are a local or someone who has chosen Bengaluru as your home. At the same time, a heartfelt thank you to the ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice and all police officials who sacrificed their own celebrations so that others could celebrate safely. Public Safety Ignored: Child Falls Into Uncovered Drain in Govindapura In a disturbing incident that once again exposes civic negligence in Bengaluru, a young school-going child fell into an open stormwater drain in Govindapura, Sarvajna Nagar. The incident occurred right in front of the school premises, where construction work was underway without even the most basic safety precautions. Shockingly, the stormwater drain had been left uncovered, with no barricades, warning signs, or protective measures in place. Due to the unsafe conditions on the road, the child was forced to walk along the edge to reach school and accidentally fell into the open drain where the slab had been left exposed. Such blatant carelessness highlights the utter disregard for public safety by the authorities responsible for overseeing the work. Thankfully, the child was rescued immediately by alert passersby and escaped without any injuries. However, this narrow escape cannot be brushed aside as mere luck. The incident comes less than a week after another tragic case in which a child lost his life due to negligence by the Water Board, raising serious and alarming concerns about the continued failure of civic agencies, including the GBA, to ensure safe infrastructure.Residents of the area have expressed anger and frustration, stating that slow, poorly planned, and unsafe construction work has turned daily movement into a life-threatening task. Parents fear for their children’s safety, while pedestrians are left to navigate dangerous roads filled with open drains, debris, and incomplete works. This incident is yet another reminder that unchecked infrastructure projects and lack of accountability are putting innocent lives at risk. Authorities must be held responsible for their negligence before more lives are endangered. Safety cannot be treated as optional, and urgent action is needed to ensure proper barricading, clear signage, and strict monitoring of civic works to prevent such incidents from recurring #bangalore #bengaluru #drainage #gba #kid Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS Greater Bengaluru Authority Karnataka State Police S. Why Build Tunnel Roads When Bengaluru Itself is a Giant Pothole?" Wow, what an incredible sight we witnessed recently in Namma Bengaluru a BMTC bus majestically sailing through a waterlogged road like it was part of some luxury cruise line. Who needs Venice when you have Bengaluru’s very own “Water Metro,” right? Maybe this is the true essence of “Brand Bengaluru” turning roads into rivers and buses into boats. Hats off to the government for such visionary urban planning! Should we now start calling our daily commute a water adventure? Or maybe DK Shivakumar will announce a new “Swim to Work” scheme soon? If this is the level of planning we can expect, then citizens should probably start investing in kayaks instead of cars. And now we hear talks about a tunnel road how exciting! Because clearly, if we can’t maintain the roads above the ground, the next logical step is to dig under and create a swimming pool experience below as well. Will the tunnel road come with free scuba gear? Or will it be part of the next wave of government freebies right after the mixer grinders and pressure cookers? It’s amazing how our tax money flows just like rainwater on our streets nowhere useful. Drainage? Maintenance? Planning? Accountability? Oh no, those are outdated concepts. What we get instead are ribbon-cuttings, press conferences, and lovely photoshoots of leaders pretending everything is under control, while citizens literally wade through the mess. Dear DK Shivakumar and team, we salute your unmatched ability to turn every rain into a PR disaster. If incompetence were an Olympic sport, Bengaluru’s civic management would be bringing home gold medals year after year. So let’s all raise a toast or maybe a life jacket to the glorious future of Bengaluru. Where infrastructure collapses, but the PR machinery stands strong. Where roads disappear, but promises flood our ears. Bravo, government. Ulama-e-Karnataka Slam Congress Over Disciplinary Action Against Muslim Leaders Bengaluru #Muslim religious leaders under the banner of Ulama-e-Karnataka held a press conference in #Bengaluru, accusing the #Congress party of bypassing due process in its recent actions against Abdul Jabbar and Naseer Ahmed. Addressing the media, Maulana Mufti Iftikhar Qasmi alleged that the party had failed to follow its own disciplinary procedures. He recalled that in 2023, the Ulama had requested the #Davanagere South seat from the Congress high command, but were told it would remain with the sitting MLA. “Now that he has passed away, we raised the question again. Instead of considering our demand, they cited examples of seats being passed on to family members in Bagalkot and among the Shamanur Shivashankarappa family. Why not give it to someone outside the family, perhaps from a minority community?” he asked. Qasmi further criticized the Congress for forcing Jabbar Sahib to resign, removing Naseer Sahib from his post, and expelling Jabbar from primary membership without issuing a show-cause notice. “Is this disciplinary action? If so, where are the rules? No notice, no chance to explain, just a direct attack,” he said, pointing out that other MLAs and ministers had spoken against the party publicly without facing similar consequences. When asked if the Congress was adopting a “use and throw” approach, Qasmi responded: “We are showing our anger and sorrow so they realize their mistake and rectify it.” “Our demand is simple: follow the rules and laws. Why was action taken so quickly now, when others were spared earlier?” Qasmi concluded, stressing that the community’s grievances must be addressed to prevent further alienation. Fear is Free, Justice Isn’t: Karnataka’s Collapse into Criminal Anarchy The law and order situation in Bengaluru SG Palya, has deteriorated to alarming levels. In a recent shocking incident, a local rowdy was seen openly threatening the owner of a bakery simply because he refused to give him free cigarettes. This brazen act of intimidation took place in broad daylight, in full view of the public a grim reminder of how fearless and unchecked such anti-social elements have become. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case. Incidents like these are becoming increasingly frequent across Karnataka, reflecting a total breakdown in governance and policing. Goons are roaming freely, extorting, threatening, and harassing common people without the slightest fear of legal consequences. What’s even more concerning is the apparent inaction of the authorities. Despite repeated offenses, these criminals continue to operate with impunity, raising serious questions about the effectiveness and integrity of law enforcement agencies. The government has completely failed to ensure the safety and security of its citizens. While political leaders remain busy with speeches and photo-ops, ordinary people are left to fend for themselves. There is a growing sense of fear and helplessness among the residents, who now hesitate to even report such crimes, fearing backlash or complete inaction. It is high time the Karnataka government wakes up from its slumber and takes decisive action. The police force must be held accountable for their failure to act, and strong measures must be implemented to restore public trust. The people of Bengaluru deserve better a city where law prevails over lawlessness, and where justice is not just a slogan, but a reality. Karnataka State Police DCP EAST DCP SOUTH ChristinMathewPhilip
