I completely agree. Smash 64 is way more fun than Ultimate, even casually, and it's not all about variety and volume. Sometimes less is more.

I would play 64 over ult No hit stun canceling Real edge guarding Some real matchups Has lower input lag Some of the most fun sound design Shield dropping Ledge canceling Dash dancing Also has awesome mods

64's only annoying character is Kirby.

kinda based, but im a league player so my threshold for BS is slightly higher than his. maybe only 30 or 25 characters are super annoying to me. also haven't played 64 in forever. id have to try it a bit to see how i really feel so my opinion means nothing atm

Spitting. Ultimate is fun with my buddy we both play regular ass smash characters but so much of the cast is annoying to play against. It’s casually better than 64 but not a tremendous amount 64 still fun to just play with items on and fuck around with a group of people
