Political movements inevitably experience moments of transition. The Obidient Movement is no exception. As political realities evolve, some people will remain, some will leave, and others will choose different political paths. That is the nature of every broad based movement. However, it is important to distinguish between genuine strategic disagreements and attempts to justify personal political decisions. It is perfectly legitimate for anyone to decide that another platform better aligns with their convictions or aspirations. Such decisions should be respected without hostility. What is less convincing is when people attribute their departure solely to the alleged absence of structure or investment by Mr. Peter Obi, especially when many of those making such arguments were themselves beneficiaries of the movement's openness and citizen driven character. The Obidient Movement was never conceived as a traditional patronage network sustained by financial inducements. It emerged as a civic awakening powered by conviction, volunteerism, sacrifice, and the collective belief that Nigeria deserves better. Every movement matures over time. Structure is not built overnight; it evolves through committed people who are willing to invest their time, ideas, and resources, not merely wait for someone else to build it for them. Those who genuinely believe in an ideal contribute to strengthening it rather than abandoning it at the first sign of difficulty. At the same time, supporters of the movement must also acknowledge that there is room for improvement. Better coordination, stronger communication, clearer leadership pathways, and more effective grassroots organization are legitimate aspirations that can help the movement mature. Constructive criticism offered in good faith should be welcomed. Ultimately, history often reveals character during difficult seasons. Some people remain committed because they believe in a cause larger than themselves. Others move because circumstances, opportunities, or personal ambitions lead them elsewhere. Neither choice should be disguised as something it is not. The enduring strength of the Obidient Movement will not be measured by how many people leave, but by whether those who remain continue to embody the values that inspired millions in the first place: integrity, service, accountability, and the unwavering belief that a better Nigeria is possible. -DrMo

Pakistan Sounds Alarm on Afghan Arms Flow 🧵 #Pakistan has raised alarm at the United Nations over abandoned and illicitly transferred small arms and light weapons in Afghanistan, warning that they threaten regional peace and security. Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, told the Security Council during an open debate on small arms that unchecked accumulation of weapons fuels conflicts. “Small arms are neither small nor light in their impact. They are the second most used weapons in global terrorist attacks after explosives,” he said. The envoy expressed deep concern over stockpiles of sophisticated arms and ammunition left in Afghanistan, either abandoned by foreign forces or sold illegally in black markets. “Reports indicate these weapons pose a direct threat to neighboring countries,” he said. “The movement of unmarked or unregistered weapons across borders sustains non-state armed groups, terrorist networks, and criminal gangs, undermining regional security,” he added. Pakistan urged stronger international efforts to prevent illicit arms flow and called on Afghan authorities to adhere to their obligations. Ambassador Iftikhar also highlighted the challenges posed by emerging technologies, including AI-based weapons, drones, 3D-printed firearms, night vision equipment, and cryptocurrency-enabled arms trades, which complicate efforts to control illicit arms. He emphasized the UN Programme of Action on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons as a framework for global cooperation and called for its full implementation domestically and internationally to safeguard peace and security. Evolving threats and the need for global cooperation Alongside small arms, Pakistan underscored its long-standing contribution to UN peacekeeping. The envoy noted that Pakistan hosts one of the first UN missions, the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP), and is among the largest and longest-serving troop contributors globally. “Over seven decades, more than 237,000 Pakistani peacekeepers have served in 48 missions across four continents, with 182 making the ultimate sacrifice for international peace and security,” he said. He warned that UN peacekeeping is at a “critical crossroads,” facing political, financial, and operational pressures, including an ongoing liquidity crisis caused by declining commitment from some member states. Ambassador Iftikhar outlined several measures to strengthen UN peacekeeping operations. He said mandates should be realistic, achievable, and guided by political objectives, while troop- and police-contributing countries must be fully involved in mandate formulation, review, and transitions, which should be based on conditions rather than fixed calendars. The safety and security of peacekeepers must remain a top priority, with stronger accountability and deterrence measures. He called for the reinforcement of regional partnerships under Chapter VIII, as promoted by Security Council Resolution 2719, and stressed that technology and innovation should complement, not replace, human presence. New mission arrangements must preserve the neutrality, legitimacy, and accountability of UN peacekeeping, and the Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations (C-34) must remain actively engaged to ensure legitimacy and member-state ownership of decisions. “Pakistan views peacekeeping not as a panacea, but neither as expendable,” he added, reaffirming the country’s commitment to ensuring that UN operations remain credible, adequately resourced, and firmly anchored in the principles of the UN Charter.

Chest Workout Routine To build a great chest, you need the right workout routine. This routine will help you effectively target your chest muscles and build strength and size. Warm-up (5-10 minutes) It is important to warm up before starting any workout. This prevents injury and prepares the muscles for the workout. * Light cardio (such as jumping jacks or skipping) * Dynamic stretching (such as arm circles, torso twists) Main Workout Perform the following exercises in 3-4 sets, with 8-12 repetitions in each set. Rest 60-90 seconds between each set. * Barbell Bench Press * This is one of the most effective exercises for the chest. It targets the upper, middle and lower chest muscles. * How to do: Lie on your back on a bench, feet firmly planted on the floor. Hold the barbell slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Bring the barbell down to your chest and then push it up. * Incline Dumbbell Press * This exercise especially helps develop the upper chest muscles. * How to do: Sit on an inclined bench (about 30-45 degrees). Hold a dumbbell in each hand. Push the dumbbells up above your chest, then slowly bring them down. * Dumbbell Fly * This exercise helps stretch the chest muscles and give a deep cut. * How to do: Lie on the bench on your back, holding a dumbbell in each hand. With your arms slightly bent, stretch the dumbbells above your chest as if you were hugging someone. Slowly bring them back to the starting position. * Cable Crossover * This exercise focuses on the inner chest muscles and provides a better definition. * How to do: Stand in the middle of the cable machine. Hold a handle with each hand. Bring your arms to the front, as if you are bringing your hands together. * Push-ups * Push-ups are a great bodyweight exercise that strengthens the chest, shoulders and triceps. * How to do: Come down on your palms and toes, keeping the body straight. Lower your chest close to the ground and then push up. If normal push-ups are difficult, you can do them on your knees. Cool-down (5-10 minutes) Cooling down and stretching after a workout is important for muscle recovery. * Do static stretches of the chest, shoulders and triceps. Hold each stretch for 20-30 seconds. Important tips * Progressive overload: Slowly increase the weight or increase the number of repetitions over time so that your muscles are constantly challenged. * Correct Form: Always focus on maintaining correct form. Incorrect form can lead to injuries and muscles not being targeted properly. * Nutrition: Adequate protein and a balanced diet are important for muscle growth. * Rest: Getting enough sleep and giving your chest a rest before the next workout is essential for muscle recovery and growth. This routine can help you build a strong and well-developed chest. Remember, consistency is key to seeing results!

🚨 AMERICAN HEROES ARE FIGHTING BACK! 🇺🇸 Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry - retired Army National Guard Brigadier General - stands fearless on the House floor: "It is now acceptable... Can you imagine if you built a community and said only Christians need to apply? But Sharia communities are being built in Texas and elsewhere." "Sharia means the law. It’s all-encompassing — your spirituality, your actions, everything. Some say they want Sharia 'by the pen,' not by the sword. But it’s still about conquering the nation — one neighborhood, one community at a time." 🚨Under Sharia: Leaving the faith = death Theft = amputation Adultery (for women) = stoning Refusing forced marriage = honor killing "This has no place in America." Rep. Perry, a combat-tested Brigadier General who continues to serve his nation in Congress, is exposing how Sharia advances through quiet infiltration, parallel societies, and intimidation — exactly as the 1991 Muslim Brotherhood plan outlined. Never forget: These brave military veterans and leaders — men like... Brig. Gen. Scott Perry, Lt. Col. Keith Self, Lt. Col. Sheri Biggs, Navy SEAL Eli Crane, and others are the ones CAIR (a Muslim Brotherhood front group) smears and calls "radicals" simply for defending the Constitution. They swore an oath to protect America abroad. Now they’re keeping that oath at home. Sharia has no place in America. One Constitution. One law. No submission. Thank you, General Perry, for your lifelong service and unwavering courage. God bless Pennsylvania. God bless America.

POLL: Nearly half of First Nations voters in Alberta back independence A poll commissioned by @ActForAlberta found 46% of First Nations respondents said they'd vote to leave Canada in a referendum on independence. Sheila Gunn Reid shares details from a poll commissioned by Act For Alberta, which found 46% of First Nations respondents would support independence if a referendum were held on the matter. For months, we’ve been told Alberta independence is fringe. That Indigenous people oppose it. That claim is doing a lot of work right now, especially in court. And then this lands: Nearly half of indigenous voters support independence. Someone tell the activist chiefs — the narrative just blew apart. According to exclusive polling commissioned by Act For Alberta, and full disclosure, I’m the listed contact for that third-party advertiser, 46% of First Nations respondents say they would vote to leave Canada. Nearly half. That's higher than support in the general Alberta population, which sits at one in three. That alone should force a rethink. Now layer this on top: 301,000 signatures, collected by 7,000 volunteers. In a long, bitterly cold Alberta winter. And what happens next? They don’t get verified. Not counted. Not certified. They're stopped, wrapped in evidence tape like some crime scene because a judge has issued a stay blocking the validation process while a legal challenge from First Nations groups plays out. So, line this up. Nearly half of First Nations respondents are open to independence. But activist chiefs claiming to speak for all Indigenous Albertans want to protect the failing federalist status quo, not just for their people, but for all of us. Hundreds of thousands of Albertans signed a petition to at least ask the question. And the activist chiefs involved in the lawsuit are asking the court to freeze the process before it reaches a result. That’s the moment we’re in. A political question with massive public engagement, halted before it could be measured. There’s a gap here. Between what’s being argued in court by gatekeepers and what people are actually saying when you ask them directly. And it is not a small gap. Indigenous communities are not one voice. Albertans are not one voice. That is the whole point of a vote. Everyone gets their say on referendum day. So, here’s the question that does not go away: if the answer is so obvious, why not let the process finish? Why not count the signatures and drop the lawsuit? Why not let people speak? Because once it becomes one person, one vote, the outcome is not controlled anymore, and the narrative is shattered for good.
