Boom! The Trump admin has just BANNED Microsoft from the Perm Program which allows H-1B visa holders to stay in the country permanently. Microsoft fired 6,000 Americans last year but hired 9,000 foreign indentured servants. Should be criminal.

20 years in the tech industry and I can honestly say H-1B has been nothing but detrimental to the country. Ever wonder why all the scammers that call you are Indian? They're not super hackers infiltrating our systems, we give them access to all the data.

Every. Single. Company. that lays off American citizens should receive a 5 year mandatory moratorium on all Visa allotment. If they are too financially hurt to keep Americans they shouldn't be rewarded by hiring Foreigners. Period.

The whole premise of H-1B is fake. One of its requirements is that there aren’t qualified workers for the position in the US. How is that possible? How can Microsoft or other companies not find qualified workers among 300 million people here? It’s a joke.
