Boston Dynamics has released a new video showing its Atlas humanoid robot using hand-like grippers to pick up and drop objects.

I'm going to buy such a robot. Then he can start working under my social security number and I stay at home.

I don’t want this machine to be the last thing I see before I die. Make it stop.

Apparently they haven’t watched T-2.

Why do they make robots more human like? I don’t know about everybody else but that just creeps me out.

The positive applications of such technology outweigh the negatives unfortunately I have no faith in humanity so it’s a no for me.

Just shut down Boston Dynamics before it's too late.

This sentiment is probably expressed a lot already but this is A) a fantastic example of human ingenuity and B) absolutely terrifying

I bet Amazon is salivating at the idea of procuring an army of these humanoids to run 24-hour operations at their warehouses and offer Prime 1-hour delivery all day & night! Laying everyone off.
