Four to five years ago, I was contacted by Nick Janssen Nick Janssen What started as a simple conversation turned into hours of storytelling, where I shared our experiences from the COD4 Promod era in detail. We talked about what the scene was like back then. The drive. The competitiveness. The community. I don't know how many people had a Neo Geo back in the day... maybe one out of 100,000? But what I do remember is playing Metal Slug - which is now 30 years old and still looks absolutely incredible - at my friend's house, who for some miraculous reason had one of those otherworldly consoles. It's a truly iconic run-and-gun arcade masterpiece which was later ported to the Neo Geo. You control soldiers Marco and Tarma, hijack powerful vehicles like the SV-001 tank, and blast through rebels led by General Morden with fluid animation, a bit of humor, and super-intense action. Many, many coins went into this beauty at the arcades.

We are now preparing for a very intense week – a week of diplomacy. We can accomplish a lot if our partners hear us and support proposals that truly bring the end of the war closer. It will be the week of the UN General Assembly – with various events and meetings. The schedule already includes nearly two dozen meetings with leaders from different countries, from all parts of the world – with everyone who has long supported Ukraine and with our new partners. The first meetings are already tomorrow. We also plan this week a meeting with the President of the United States. There will be an important event on the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia – a truly global summit on this issue. It is vital that this week strengthens the world’s resolve for robust action – because without strength, peace will not prevail.

I'm 70 and retiring from my job. This was a hard letter for me to TAP Send. Team, I am happy and deeply proud to share that I am retiring, with my final working day on Friday, May 1, 2026. As I look back on my time here, I can admit I haven’t always been the easiest person to work with. My passion for the job and my attention to details has, at times, made me intense. Yet throughout it all, my supervisors stood by me with patience, strength, and understanding. They have been everything I could have hoped for in leaders, firm when needed, fair in every situation, and always friendly. Their guidance has meant more to me than they know, and I am truly grateful. Being part of this team has been one of the great privileges of my life. I’ve learned, grown, and shared moments, big and small, with people who made each day meaningful. The support, the conversations, the laughter, and even the challenges have shaped my journey, creating memories I will carry with me with pride and gratitude.
