Brad Bradford said if elected mayor, he'd improve safety at Union Station by putting a police substation. Olivia Chow's NDP supporters freaked out and said Union is fine as it is. I'm in Union all the time. It's not fine. This was at one of the entrances around 11:30 last night.

Did the Toronto Transit Commission TTC Service Alerts TTC Customer Service enact new rules that violate the right to free expression regarding protest signs? Or do you have rules exclusively restricted to signs or verbiage opposing the slaughter of Palestinians? As far as I know, there’s no rule prohibiting political posters or shirts as long as they don't incite violence or disrupt safety and comfort. Has the TTC changed its stance on this? Asking for a lot of friends. Thank you, Trixi Jones, for speaking up and sharing.

Construction is now finished on all stations and stops along the Finch West LRT including Humber College Station, Finch West Station and every surface level stop in-between. Crews will continue testing the entire system to make sure it’s ready for TTC driver training and is safe and reliable before it opens to the public. Click here for more:

The ideologically-captured TTC Board were clearly irritated and uncomfortable with my deputation. Most remained preoccupied with their phones and laptops while I articulated the harsh realities about the transit system they are entrusted to care for. The average salary of those in the room exceeded $200K per year, including Joe Mihevc, a “consultant” who has several lucrative contracts with the City. No Board member had any comments or questions for me and were eager to see me leave the room. The Chair was especially displeased with my remarks. FYI - the TTC has a costly “diversity department” and “truth and reconciliation action plan.” I’m not sure how either are related to their operating mandate of delivering a safe, reliable, and efficient transit system.
