I quite liked GDT's Frankenstein, but this version of Dracula is better in every single way (Keanu's accent notwithstanding) That may be a story issue, but even so, this is Gothic horror at its very best

The only issue I have with this movie is that the vampires don’t put up much of a fight when they are confronted. Dracula gets taken down too easily. Yes it follows the book, but I’m just saying.

This is a terrible rendition. It relies on effects but the script is just terrible. Dracula doesn't wine and dine. He doesn't ballroom dance. He doesn't go on dates and get stood up. The whole thing is just silly. It's a fanciful film for people who like bad movies.

Superb cast

S. Frost played this scene backwards (including climbung up the stairs), in order to make her movements more odd.

@SSeeley92 Good, but Bram Stoker's Dracula it wasn't. Van Helsing, like Bram himself, didn't belive in the supernatural, where Dracula's power was to prey upon the faithful. He wasn't a changeling but a charlatan. Van Helsing used reason and Dracula's own superstitions against him.
