The robot is called DYNA-1 - It wasn’t built to impress onstage. It was built to work.. on real, repetitive tasks like napkin folding in a commercial setting. And last week, it showed what that looks like in practice.

Most robots don’t last long under real-world pressure. They drift. They get stuck. They break down. DYNA-1 didn’t. It kept going.. fold after fold.. through lighting changes, object shifts, and the quiet randomness of time.

Its biggest advantage? A training system that tracks every move not just success or failure, but the small things in between. That kind of feedback changes how a robot learns. It catches mistakes early. It adapts as it goes.

DYNA-1 wasn’t always this steady. Week 1: couldn’t last past 5 minutes Week 3: lasted hours, but far too slow Week 6: folded napkins for 24+ hours and held production-grade quality That kind of improvement is rare.

This project isn’t about napkins. Not really. DYNA-1 has already started learning other tasks: → Folding laundry → Filling ingredient cups → Working in new locations It learns what it sees. And it applies it.
