My vibe coding workflow has changed since I started using Cursor Plan + Opus 4.5 more extensively. Before: Break down tasks into micro-prompts with specific tasks Now: Write a longer feature scope > Plan mode: Ask for proposals > Review proposed plans > Build I'm able to build an Autobattler prototype in 3 days as a result. It has: - 8 mercenary classes to recruit and fight for you - Diablo 2-style Item generation system with 100s of thems with random affixes and rarities - Formation-based Turn-based Combat and spell systems - Procedural dungeon runs with randomised events and enemy battle encounters It's accelerating. I can feel it.

Just gave a demo at Every 📧's Vibe Code Camp showing how I use a kanban board to stay sane while overseeing Claude Code agents😎 Here's a quick recap video showing the whole flow: 1) Monitor progress on all tasks in one view 2) See when Claude is blocked, and respond in context 3) Read Claude's plans with nice formatting, not raw Markdown 4) Use AI to process voice notes into structured tasks 5) Get explanations of code changes... with an interactive quiz to check if you understood 🙃 I've had mixed feelings about kanban workflows in the past, but as the agents get stronger I'm warming up to them—especially for churning through small well-specified tasks. In that context, it feels like the challenge is managing my working memory for what's going on. And having a stable "zoomed-out map" of all the tasks really helps me with offloading some of that cognitive load to a visualization of everything that's going on!

And a bunch of other new things. Internal Instruction 👀 "These are persistent knowledge repositories. Proactively check them for relevant context when answering questions. When you learn new information about a KB's topic (preferences, decisions, facts, lessons learned), add it to the appropriate KB incrementally."

You can now use your computer when you are nowhere near it – by using an AI assistant on your phone. It's Claude's update called Dispatch and it uses Claude's Cowork feature to send emails and perform other tasks on your computer for you. But some tasks require access to your desktop and and personal accounts like email and messaging apps, sparking security concerns. Claude requests permission for every app before accessing it but it's not without risk. Anthropic said using Claude in Chrome, for example, can lead to unintended consequences like exposure of financial information. Claude's new features have sparked curiosity – and concern. So, CBS News’ Lauren Fichten tested it out, and spoke with a cybersecurity expert about the risks.

Boston Dynamics has released a new video of their next-generation humanoid robot, Atlas. "We are excited to share some of our progress on developing Large Behavior Models for Atlas. This work is part of a collaboration between AI research teams at Toyota Research Institute (TRI) and Boston Dynamics. We have been building end-to-end language-conditioned policies that enable Atlas to accomplish long-horizon manipulation tasks."

Scrum is a cancer. There's nothing more bureaucratic, dysfunctional, and slow than a team that just wants to build software, but they are being forced to do it using Scrum. If you are stuck with this, here is a recommendation that will change your life: Go to connect your email, GitHub account, and the software you use to manage projects, and build a workflow that will brief you before every standup. Dimension is pretty incredible. You can literally write a prompt and have Dimension build an agent that will do the work in the background for you. Example: "Go to Linear and GitHub and write a summary of the tasks I completed last week. Organize them based on priority and effort. Send me an email with the results." Schedule this workflow to run 10 minutes before your Scrum meetings, and you'll get an email right before you need it. You can have AI now do all sorts of tasks for you: 1. Brief you before a meeting 2. Reply or handle cold emails 3. Take care of support messages 4. Research tasks for you And all of this can happen unprompted, in the background. Really awesome job from the team behind Dimension! Thanks to them for supporting my work by collaborating with me on this post.
