Hamzat who addressed journalists after the meeting with the presidnet at the villa says the delegation, led by GAC leaders, formally presented him to the President, who gave his blessing to the consensus choice. It was a moment of profound reflection and gratitude to lead the Board of the ncc.gov.ng on a courtesy visit to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu last Thursday. As I mentioned during our meeting, my "PhD in Public Service" was obtained within the The Lagos State Govt ecosystem. To return now, in this federal capacity, and be received so warmly by a leader who was once my "Dean" in that school of service, is truly humbling. Our discussions reinforced the central role Lagos continues to play as Nigeria’s hub for telecommunications, innovation, and the digital economy, a position built over decades of deliberate governance and reform. This legacy, championed and consolidated under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to shape Lagos as the template for national progress. The NCC remains committed to deepening collaboration with Lagos State to ensure that the infrastructure powering our nation’s economic engine remains resilient, compliant, and future-ready. These are the facts. Yesterday, he explicitly stated that declaring a state of emergency doesn’t remove the governor. Today, he’s claiming that the president is in a precarious situation. Watch the entire video until the end. He said expressly no be can declare state of emergency in Nigeria and remove the governor but Pres.Tinubu did, so why can’t he say Expressly President Tinubu was wrong. He stated boldly no body can declare state of emergency in Nigeria and remove the governor he said if anyone tried it they will fail. So when Tinubu tried it 2 hours why didn’t he say Tinubu is operating an illegal law! He then said the president was pushed to declare state of emergency? Based on his argument yesterday why didn’t he say the president has no powers to declare state of emergency and suspend the governor He then pushes the argument to the National Assembly to decide which is a grand pivot mechanism. I have been in this business for 20 years so I know a pivot. The same 1961 law that he claimed didn’t exist ( he called it an antiquated law/ an illegal law)yesterday is now the same law he claims some lawyers informed him is still active. Before I intervened today, I watched the video multiple times and noticed that the speaker had pivoted. If he adheres to the constitution he quoted the previous day, why can’t he explicitly condemn President Tinubu in the same manner as he condemned Obasanjo in his previous intervention? It’s evident that he’s playing a strategic game. All the other things he said were to prolong the situation and ultimately support President Tinubu while citing the opinions of some lawyers, the same law he discarded the previous day. I’ve shared the entire video for accountability. We’re also aware of other events that transpired yesterday.

What a disgrace to Nigerians and her politicians , can you believe this is the Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa the APC Ondo state governor having a battle with a side chic in London. These are the type of individuals occupying most of the high level political positions in Nigeria. They have no self respect. A governor that degenerates himself to such a manner deserves to resign from his position but that won’t happen because he is a Nigerian politician.
