#BREAKING: Danielle Smith says her govt will not be moving to push for separation from Canada... But if there's a successful citizen lead petition requesting a referendum, it'll be on the ballot in 2026. Is it time for Alberta to break free of Ottawa's rule?

Basically here she is quietly promoting a possible separation. She cannot say it out loud. She has to play it smart. This is the start of the process.

As an Albertan I am over the moon happy. She basically said she supports separation, anyone who doesn't see this is just retarded. Her demands are never going to happen, and if they do, they will lead to separation anyway Perfect speech.

I think the 2026 timeline is good for the independence movement to build out its ground game and roll out an education campaign. I also don't think Danielle opposes separation per se, but she seems to believe that it's necessary to demonstrate that all reasonable avenues of negotiation with Canada have been exhausted.

Alberta supplies Canada's energy, Saskatchewan supplies the food! How long will they accept non-producing Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver dictating terms!

Her hair looks amazing

Alberta needs to leave Canada!

Provinces own their resources. Period.

She has to be careful she isn't accused/charged with sedition.

She is smart to remove herself from the movement and to let the people decide.
