Albert Riera says out loud what many coaches think but rarely state so clearly: playing too much with the goalkeeper doesn’t help you win games. The priority is simple: - play forward. - find the free man. - find the players who change the game. The goalkeeper is there to defend. Sometimes to help create superiority — yes. But assists from goalkeepers are rare, and results are not decided by them. That’s why Riera trains it deliberately: use the goalkeeper once — and then you must play forward. Remove the safety net. Force solutions ahead of the ball. Train it. Automate it. And in games, you’ll naturally play less with the goalkeeper.

COACHES: If you want to play aggressive with your D down the wall in the offensive zone, it's massively important that you have a great F3. Here is a great example from FLA - Ekblad gets down the wall tight and above the winger creating the turnover while Reinhart backs him up as F3 in the middle. Offensively in these situations, by being aggressive with your D you keep so many more pucks in the zone extending your ozone time. The D gapped hard on the opposing winger either takes away that option or creates a turnover if that winger is passed the puck. And often...it's F3 that becomes open after the turnover as you see with Reinhart on this play. Defensively, a great F3 limits the opposing team from getting odd-man rushes the other way. I love the aggressiveness this structure provides a team - it's a great identity tactic for teams that want to be hard to play against. Great job here by FLA!!

Caicedo handles so much build up responsibility like it's nothing Being the first receiver from the backline means he's often marked or sandwiched by oppositions press, but he still manages to evade pressure expertly, find the tiniest gaps, and also has the technical ability to play through Those that limit him to merely a ball winner don't know what they are watching This is a top 1% midfielder in his position and only a select few can chat with him.

Bout time Russ clapped back. Sean Payton 100% intentionally meant to disrespect Russ in his post game interview. It would have been simple to just compliment Jaxson Dart, but instead he took aim at Russ. It’s personal & it’s been that way. He never treated Bo Nix or Drew Brees the way he did Russell Wilson. This guy either had too much Harley Davidson for himself or too many beers or both. Looked like he was just going to drive out in the street in front of that truck. Not sure why he revved the engine up to back it up but it didn’t help. He dropped that expensive Harley but I’ll give him credit for getting it back up, albeit with a little struggle. What’s more interesting is that no one went over to help but just watched. 🤯 Maybe he should have turned the music off a little sooner. How embarrassing. Never drink and drive especially in a motorcycle. 💯 What do you think? Too much bike for the guy or maybe a few too many drinks? Both? Would you have helped him?

KD argued with me on this app that defenses are better than ever now… He asked LeBron on the Mind the Game if defenses are better now and Bron responded, “no, not in a sense I don’t want to say more creative. It’s a switch league now, everyone wants to switch.” Bron might lie about his legacy on his podcast but he has a good on court IQ. He was spot-on with this take, today’s league defenses are VERY simple. Switch everything is how random guys at a pick up game play. This is why he and all these 35+ year old guys are still making max money and cooking this league. Since they can easily outsmart these elementary schemes. It’s funny because Bron wanted to say the defenses are the best that they have ever been, to make his accomplishments shine more and you can see in his body language he was uncomfortable. But even he had to admit today’s defenses are basic and soft ✌🏻

I've only been learning the Sanxian for three months, and I'm still very much a beginner. There are plenty of wrong notes and awkward moments along the way😅 Yet whenever I put on Hanfu and play in public, people respond with kindness and encouragement. It has made me realize that perfection isn't what matters most. What matters is the willingness to learn, appreciate a culture, and engage with it sincerely. In return, I've been met with warmth, patience, and generosity from strangers. It's a simple experience, but one that has truly warmed my heart😊

🚨RIGGED NFL RAIDERS BRONCOS RESULT🚨 Dirtball Raiders team goes into Denver and hangs with broncos team they have no business being on the field with for four quarters - they allow the broncos to win but not cover #fake only because 95% of the betting public was on the broncos. This was a fake-fart-on-the-ball 4 quarters. By the way we are 6-1🔥 in our last 7 NFL games against the spread because it’s FAKE!

Lots to talk about on this play 1) The design is terrible. The Eagles get a clear zone indicator pre-snap and run Mesh which is terrible against zone coverage 2) It's a shame that the play was negated by a holding call because it's a nice job of extending the play and finding AJ Brown in the back of the endzone 3) It's probably a hold on Dickerson. But Eagles fans are annoyed because they never get holding calls and this one is pretty ticky-tack. 4) I was fine with the no-call on Parsons. He doesn't lower the helmet and hits him right after the ball comes out. But again, its annoying to see this when Milton Williams got penalized last week for an open-handed push after the ball was out.

KIDS: When players on a team care about each other, winning cultures thrive. A lot of that culture is built off the ice with relationships, but it's also really built on the ice with buy in, sticking up for each other, and unselfish play. This unselfish play here from Artemi Panarin shows why he is one of the most popular teammates in the league. It's a small thing, but worth the weight of gold in the locker room. In a league where goals are at a premium, and goals equal dollars, Panarin has a clear open net for the goal but chooses to pass it to Kreider. And yes, one can argue that he should've shot it in a one-goal game. But I still love it. When top players are unselfish, that goes such a long way for setting the tone for the team's culture. The Rangers are only one point back from the top of the league, and as small as a play as this is, it's probably a big reason why. I'm also a believer in the Hockey Gods. Because what happens on the following shift...Panarin gets the puck and scores another empty netter. Awesome. Coaches, this is a great clip to show your team and especially your top players. Great job by Artemi Panarin!!

Here is both the sideline and end zone view of the big miss from Hurts to AJ in the loss to the Broncos My thoughts on the play: ** AJ definitely slows up. If he doesn’t I’m not sure it is completed but it has a much better chance to be a TD. But no question him slowing up was a big reason why it wasn’t completed. ** Hurts holds onto the ball a tick longer than he should have, a theme in the game. I don’t think that is why it is incomplete but it didn’t help. ** I think AJ slowed up because he felt the ball wasn’t coming since he was already so far down the field and it hadn’t been thrown yet. To me that is probably the result of frustration from that happening a lot this season as opposed to solely on this play. ** Bottom line is this has to be a TD. This isn’t a backup QB to a No. 3 WR. This is Hurts to AJ. They needed the play and it didn’t get it done. ** Most concerning part of the play to me isn’t that it was incomplete. That is bad but it will happen. The number one thing you need in life is gratitude. Get up in the morning and write down a few things you’re excited by. I’m a short guy so when I look at the glass it always looks half full, I’m too short to see it any other way. Getting fired from the White House, humiliated on every late night show, destroyed by the cable news guys, no problem. You take all of that, and you write down what you’re grateful for anyway. It sounds simple, but it works.

"And so, it's just that support and having a coach that has your back and encourages you or encourages me like that means a lot and helps me play fast and helps me play with confidence, even though we both know I'm going to make mistakes, we both know I'm going to want some things back.
