This is the situation of the Ayensu River running through the Mankrong and Kwanyarko communities. These innocent citizens have never experienced their river polluted to this level. The water treatment plant is shut down as a result and about 11 districts in the central region have no access to potable water. The women have to fetch this water sometimes and cook the water for hours before they can drink. Painful part is, they do no mining in these communities. They are only suffering the impact of mining from 100s of kilometers away. This NDC Government won the 2024 elections largely on the back of Galamsey and the inability of the NPP government to win the fight. I always insisted the NDC were enabling Galamsey the reason it became a difficult fight for the NPP. Today, the situation is worst, our water bodies have been invaded 3times fold and it’s deteriorating at an alarming rate. We call on government to quickly fulfil the promises made to the people. They were just a 6 promises. At least they shld implement this and fail then we know they have made the efforts. For now, they deny the situation is worst, they are buying gold from the Galamseyers, their party people in some areas are leading the onslaught on our river bodies, The government has a laid back attitude to the fight and simply doing the same things already in place when they took office. There is little hope at the moment and we are counting of the NDC government to change this. #GalamseyEnablers

The persecution of Britain I watched a mother from Sweden on tv, say that for three children in nursery for a month it cost €300. In the UK , for three children at nursery a DAYS care would not be far off that cost. It's just one thing after another living in Britain. Whether it's being taught Our history is bad or Our culture is bad whether it's our government destroying our food security our energy security , and manufacturing industries whether it's breaking down our education system or overwhelming our Nhs and prioritising foreign workers over British trained whether it's the fact we have the highest energy cost in the world and some of the highest taxation. Or the worst illegal and mass immigration and overwhelming population increase Or a Gov that pushes war over peace where it matters Or whether it's simply the fact we seem to have a government who seems to hate Britain. The British really do seem like a persecuted population

I spoke in Parliament today about the horrific conflict in Sudan, which simply has not received the attention it deserves. The scale of the suffering is staggering. Hundreds of thousands are believed to have been killed, many more wounded and millions forced from their homes. But if we are serious about helping to end this war, we need to follow the money. I raised the role of the UAE and the growing evidence linking it to support for the RSF, including weapons and foreign mercenaries. The question for this Government is simple: why are we not sanctioning those responsible? As Chairman of the APPG on Magnitsky Sanctions, I believe we should be using those powers. Wealth, investment and influence in Britain cannot be allowed to buy immunity from scrutiny over serious human rights abuses. That applies to Sudan, but it also applies to the disgraceful treatment of British citizen Ryan Cornelius, who has now spent nearly two decades incarcerated in the UAE. For too long we have been reluctant to confront the UAE because of the money and investment involved. That cannot be our foreign policy. If individuals are responsible for serious abuses, we should sanction them, restrict their ability to invest and hold assets here, and make clear that access to Britain is not without consequence. It is time for the Government to act.

Energy is growth. But our energy costs are some of the highest in the developed world. We have to cut the cost of power and only the Conservatives have a plan to do so. The British people are being squeezed, and our industries are being held back. This spineless Labour Government refuses to take the tough decisions needed to grow our economy. The Conservatives will scrap the carbon tax, paid for by getting Britain drilling. We will back British industry, level the playing field with foreign imports, and bring jobs and investment back to the UK. This will bring more jobs and growth to the economy, and cut costs for business. We believe in enterprise, in competitiveness, and in putting our national interest first. Only the Conservatives have a plan to get Britain working again: cut spending, cut tax and back business.
