And every time this behavior is excused, it sends the message that ICE agents can ignore constitutional rights, threaten innocent people, and walk away like nothing happened.

These three friends wanted to get back at someone so they waited until it got dark, and they toilet papered their whole house and made a huge mess. The only problem. Is that they got the wrong house, it wasn’t the house of the person that upset them but instead the house of someone who everyone loves and respects due to their involvement in the community. If someone “mistakingly” toilet papered your house, wouldn’t you still press charges or is the cleanup and apology enough?

In the video, the agent tells the driver that they are looking for a woman, and say the person’s name they are looking for. The driver immediately responded that they had the wrong person. The agent responded, “I know. I understand that.” But, instead of ending the stop… he continued to harass her, and asked, “Are you going to be childish?” Then he doubled down… saying she looked like the person they were looking for, and that he needed her ID. Police Broke Down Door in Mistaken Identity Case in Baton Rouge Officers asked for Brooks’ name. He refused to answer and asked them to get off his property. The video shows officers following him, kicking open his door, and detaining him. Shortly after, the officers put Brooks in handcuffs. He said he then told officers his name, and that is when they realized they had the wrong person. “What took place was, you were mistaken for someone else. In Atlantic City. He showed them his license. They dismissed it. He showed them ANOTHER form of ID. They STILL kept interrogating him about where he lived, who he lived with, whether Venezuelans lived in his home, who had been in his car, and whether the vehicle was registered to him. All while illegally detaining him in his car. And in the end… The agents admitted they weren’t even looking for the person connected to the car’s registration. So, why was this U.S. citizen stopped, surrounded, and interrogated in the first place? The Fourth Amendment does not disappear because agents “suspect” someone might be undocumented. You do not have to repeatedly prove your citizenship to federal agents because they decided you “look foreign enough” to question. Yet, this keeps happening to U.S. citizens across the country.

In the video, an agent is sitting on the teenager’s back as his 14-year-old brother screams that he’s a U.S. citizen, in a Walmart parking lot. The agent responds: “Well, we’re going to find that out since whoever drives this [pointing to the truck] isn’t.” That sentence is the admission. Because it shows the only thing they knew, at that moment, was something about the registered owner of the truck… not the person they had pinned to the pavement. Vehicle registration tells you who owns a car. It does NOT tell you who is driving it. Before law enforcement can detain someone, they need individualized reasonable suspicion tied to that person. If they had not confirmed the driver matched the registered owner… If they had not observed a crime… If they had no warrant… Then pinning him down, handcuffing him, and loading him into a vehicle raises serious Fourth Amendment concerns. You don’t get to tackle someone first and figure out who they are later. You don’t get to use force based on “we’ll find out.” The issue isn’t just that he’s a U.S. citizen… The issue is whether agents had lawful, INDIVIDUALIZED suspicion to detain him before they used force. Because when law enforcement starts treating vehicle registration as automatic suspicion for whoever is behind the wheel… That’s collective punishment. And the Constitution does not allow that.

Once again, proving they don’t “protect communities”… they endanger everyone in them. In the video, you can see agents going up the stairs after breaking the window next to the door to force their way in. A resident states there were clear signs instructing law enforcement to go to the front entrance with a warrant if they needed access. They didn’t. Instead, agents chose to break the window, leaving the building wide open to anyone, and exposing residents to freezing temperatures… All because they didn’t have a warrant, and because they believe the law doesn’t apply to them. If this doesn’t infuriate you, then stop pretending you believe in the Constitution. Because if federal agents can smash their way into this apartment building, without a warrant, today… they can do it to yours tomorrow.

The homeowner comes out and tells them to leave, because they are on private property. The man they’re trying to detain is saying the same thing… you’re on private property… get out. Instead of backing off… an agent grabs him around the waist, trying to tackle the man. The man breaks free, crawling to the door, and goes inside the house. At that point, this should’ve been over. Because under the Constitution, entering a home without a warrant is one of the clearest lines law enforcement are not allowed to cross. But, they cross it anyway. One agent grabs his foot as he’s going in… and then both agents follow him inside the home, while the homeowner is actively telling them to get out. Over and over. Huge lawsuit on this one. 👀 They arrested the wrong guy. Even after he identified himself and they knew by his age that he was not the person on the warrant, they still continued with the arrest. This ended up in a lawsuit that awarded him 600k.

I've had this happen as a doordash driver they have codes for orders usually, for people who've had their orders stolen frequently and if they don't have the correct code, then I can't hand it to them and they get mad cuz they won't give the code or wrong one and, if id given them the food and it turns out they're not the person who ordered it than I'd get in trouble, it's simple either give the correct code or I can't give you the order I've had it happen for food and items that people use doordash to deliver it's a security measure

ICE agents don’t get to kidnap someone, from a coffee shop parking lot, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause. The Fifth Amendment guarantees due process…. Holding someone against their will while refusing to tell them why, or denying them access to contact anyone, is a constitutional violation. And the Equal Protection principles mean the government can’t target people simply because of their race, ethnicity, or the language they speak. If you’re okay with constitutional rights disappearing the moment someone has the wrong last name, or skin color… You were never defending law and order.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents were caught racially profiling a parent… in a SCHOOL ZONE… while they were dropping off their child at school. In the video, agents surrounded the car, opened the door, started questioning the driver… treating them like a criminal… all because they decided they “looked” undocumented. Once they realized the person wasn’t undocumented… they just walked away like nothing happened. Because to them, traumatizing families, and stopping parents during school drop-off, is apparently just another normal Wednesday. But there is nothing legal about racial profiling… The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures. Law enforcement cannot just surround your car, open your door, and detain you because of your ethnicity or the language you speak. Equal protection under the Constitution is supposed to apply to EVERYONE… not just the people ICE decides “look American enough.” And doing this in a school zone makes it even more disgusting. Parents are supposed to feel safe taking their children to school… not worry that federal agents are going to surround their car because of the color of their skin. They always say, “If you didn’t do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about.” But this person DIDN’T do anything wrong. And they were still surrounded, interrogated, and treated like a suspect.
