The rush to blame Ecuador for defending its sovereignty as stated in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations is hilarious. Entry is only permitted with explicit consent from the ambassador or head of the consular post. ICE could not bother to contact State, provide the documentation for the suspect's arrest, instead of complaining that diplomatic staff stopped them. That's their job.
