He'll likely win in court on this but loose the case as the ICE Agent is a federal officer performing his duties on behalf of the government. The kicker is that if he can be tried and convicted for doing his official duties or acts occurring during his official duties then they certainly can extradite Ellison on federal charges for taking bribes and aiding in fraud. This includes Walz or anyone at the state level. Maybe he's using this as a bargaining tool to say that he'll stop pursuing the ICE Agent if they stop pursuing Ellison and Walz. I say Ellison and Walz would be come the bigger fish to fry.
