Makes perfect sense. If you're hiring someone because they're that good to give them a Visa, it doesn't mean their spouse or family should be here soaking up jobs.

Why not just cancel effective immediately, or, effective in 90 days, existing H1B Visas, too? I saw @Cargill rapidly fire Americans in I.T.--basically their entire I.T. workforce--and replace them with Indians. The Cargill family can move rapidly back to hiring Americans.

The H-4 EAD was always the quiet part of the scam, since a company could import one "irreplaceable" engineer and get a second worker thrown in for free while American grads with the same degree were told the "talent shortage" made them unhirable. Nobody in the Chamber of Commerce ever explains why the shortage only shows up when the cheaper option is on the table. Free up the jobs and watch the shortage vanish overnight.

America First! Deport the spouses along with the H-B1 visa holders. All of them.

Job shortages and homelessness hits differently when it’s your loved ones. What do you tell a young person when everything you’ve already told them has failed, and he does not qualify for any govt assistance, and we all know why. He didn’t even qualify for a food bag!!!

These are good steps, but they are small. We need big bold action to save our country and save our youth. First, increase the H1B annual fee to $300k. No company in their right mind would pay that much for a junior/mid level engineer, tester, analyst or project/product manager. Second, remove the scammers by immediately revoking ALL H1B and H4 EAD visas unless the company pays the $300k annual fee immediately. If not, give companies 6 months to have their bargain basement H1B scammers train their American citizen replacements.

Now stop offshoring the jobs. That’s what’s happening now.

This is great news for very qualified GA Tech students in engineering and tech fields who can't find a job because of the H1-B program. But blame also goes to the American companies who were hiring H1B.
