I just got caught up on yesterday’s presser and this is a fantastic idea! 🚨 (NEW) Trump’s $100,000 H-1B Visa Fee, Skilled Immigration, and American Workers President Trump’s new annual fee per H-1B visa worker, requires employers to pay $100k for EACH foreign worker they hire, EVERY YEAR. The policy incentivizes hiring U.S. talent, and greatly reduces the risk of companies exploiting H-1B visas to undercut domestic wages. It also discourages frivolous visa applications, ensuring only high-value talent is sponsored. The fee, applied to the 85,000 annual H-1B visas, could generate billions in revenue for the United States. The policy goes into immediate effect via his executive order.
