BREAKING: SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen hints that Starlink’s next-generation mobile network will bring full 5G directly from space. SpaceX plans to launch the new direct-to-device satellites throughout 2027 and turn on the service in the first half of 2028. “We’re planning to fly the satellites next year and have... show more

@cb_doge we’re still doing Mars

❤️

5G from SPACE. No more dead zones, anywhere? Wild.

It's already happening

My review notes became more useful through reviewing a losing entry without the later candles first.

🫵🔝🤙

Bret Johnsen speaking at a Goldman conference means the rocket science is over. Now it is just about making the spreadsheet look as impressive as the launch video.

g5 lol starlink is g177444774 they just keep on sandbagging it 😏 to keep the legacy internet companies naive and ignorant 🤭

Yes nice but you know, Space have no rules 😀

👏

That would be wild. Full 5G from space could change everything for people stuck in dead zones.

🚀🚀💪🚀🚀

Hunmm that’s exactly what we’re literally living under now a Starlink dome.And the funny thing is, this isn’t an exaggerated metaphor mine,with direct to device, orbital 5G, in orbit computing, and space based backhaul all combined, the sky has become active infrastructure. It’s no longer just an antenna on a rooftop, is a constellation,is a mobile network in space,is the entire planet inside a dome.And wow here i am in Japan in 2026, already inside that dome before everyone else. Is wild to realize the future isn’t coming , it’s already switched on above us.

People will price this as a Musk headline. It’s a distribution story. Whoever controls cheap global connectivity sits under AI, crypto rails, and every “agent that needs the internet.”

SpaceX FTW

I began with a simple habit: recording targets I revised before entering.
