In a statement to the UN Security Council, Pakistan's Permanent Representative, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, expressed strong support for Qatar, affirming its sovereign right under the UN Charter to defend its territory and protect its population. He sharply condemned Israel, describing it as an “occupier feigning victimhood” that routinely violates UN resolutions and engages in state terrorism in Gaza. Ahmad further characterized Israel as an “irresponsible rogue state” responsible for the most severe forms of state terrorism.
