This marks the first time we've fully connected the online booking and offline riding experience. Sitting in that car, I couldn't help but feel a bit emotional. We announced the Robotaxi plan last November, kicked off public-road testing this January, rolled out production vehicles in May, and now, just eight months later, we've run the whole loop and started internal trials. That's faster than we ever expected. Huge thanks to everyone on the Robotaxi team who made this happen. True large-scale deployment of Robotaxis is a long journey. Next, we'll keep doubling down on safety, fine-tune the experience, and improve generalization, steady steps all the way. I'm really looking forward to the day when our internal users, locals in Guangzhou, and travelers visiting the city can all pull out their phones, hail a XPENG Robotaxi, and hop in for a ride. And for this first taste of Robotaxi? I give it a solid 10/10!

NAF destroys terrorist logistics hub in Southern Tumbuns By: Zagazola Makama The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has executed a successful air interdiction operation against terrorist logistics in the Southern Tumbuns area of the North-East. The operation was carried out on Dec. 14 at Dabar Masara, a location identified as a terrorist stronghold, as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist activities and supply networks. A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the air strike followed credible intelligence indicating the presence of a terrorist workshop and sustained movement of armed elements in the area. According to the statement, the Air Component of Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai deployed an integrated force package to conduct coordinated Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions alongside strike operations. “Prior ISR missions revealed repeated terrorist movement within the area, as well as a significant concentration of vehicles concealed under vegetation, confirming the location as an active terrorist logistics hub,” Ejodame said. He explained that further surveillance on the day of the operation validated the intelligence, with terrorists observed manoeuvring around the identified vehicles. “Following positive identification and in strict adherence to the Rules of Engagement, the targets were engaged,” he added. The statement noted that post-operation Battle Damage Assessment confirmed that the identified vehicles were destroyed and terrorist elements neutralised. Ejodame said the successful operation underscored the NAF’s commitment to intelligence-driven and precise air operations in support of national efforts to degrade terrorist networks and enhance security in affected regions. NAF destroys terrorist logistics hub in Southern Tumbuns By: Zagazola Makama The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has executed a successful air interdiction operation against terrorist logistics in the Southern Tumbuns area of the North-East. The operation was carried out on Dec. 14 at Dabar Masara, a location identified as a terrorist stronghold, as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist activities and supply networks. A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the air strike followed credible intelligence indicating the presence of a terrorist workshop and sustained movement of armed elements in the area. According to the statement, the Air Component of Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai deployed an integrated force package to conduct coordinated Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions alongside strike operations. “Prior ISR missions revealed repeated terrorist movement within the area, as well as a significant concentration of vehicles concealed under vegetation, confirming the location as an active terrorist logistics hub,” Ejodame said. He explained that further surveillance on the day of the operation validated the intelligence, with terrorists observed manoeuvring around the identified vehicles. “Following positive identification and in strict adherence to the Rules of Engagement, the targets were engaged,” he added. The statement noted that post-operation Battle Damage Assessment confirmed that the identified vehicles were destroyed and terrorist elements neutralised. Ejodame said the successful operation underscored the NAF’s commitment to intelligence-driven and precise air operations in support of national efforts to degrade terrorist networks and enhance security in affected regions.
