Our tax dollars hard at work. After pouring $27M to rehab Logan Square Park at Kedzie and Logan Blvd., residents have found they are unable to use it. Why, you ask? Homeless have flocked to the park and set up an encampment. Residents are concerned about safety and cleanliness and say the encampment keeps them from enjoying the park. The alderman, Anthony J. Quezada, 35th Ward Alderman, says he's working with the city to keep the park clean. In other words, Quezada is doing everything he can to prevent the homeless encampment from being dismantled and move the homeless out. To progressives, our public parks are for the homeless.

ZOMBIELAND A crisis is unfolding at the Marylander Condominiums in Hyattsville, Prince George's County, Maryland where a nearby homeless encampment has been linked to severe damage that left residents without heat and water for months. Roughly half the complex have been without heat since before Thanksgiving 2025. Property management claims individuals from the adjacent homeless camp broke into the boiler room and damaged it. The county then moved to evict the CONDO residents, not the homeless. The condo association has filed a federal lawsuit seeking $25 million in damages, accusing the county of neglecting the issue and failing to protect the property. The encampment has grown due to assistance by NGOs, churches, and activists who bring food and clothing which Border Hawk witnessed. The condo is home to many migrant individuals, and this reporter encountered no one who spoke english. The homeless encampment is also home to many migrants.
