This is not AI. On January 19, 2025, during Starship Flight 7, SpaceX's Super Heavy booster made a flawless return to the launch pad, caught by its massive mechanical arms. This reusable rocket milestone demonstrates how close we are to rapid, fully reusable spaceflight-boosters landing safely, ready to be refueled and flown again, paving the way for more frequent and affordable space missions. The Spectrum, the inaugural test rocket from the German private company Isar Aerospace, crashed and exploded roughly thirty seconds after liftoff at the Andøya Spaceport in Norway. This marked the first-ever launch of a carrier rocket from continental Europe. The objective of this program is to initiate satellite launches from Europe, positioning the region as a key player in the space industry. Isar Aerospace CEO Daniel Metzler commented on the launch, highlighting that the test flight exceeded their expectations and was considered a significant success. He noted that the rocket achieved a clean liftoff, maintained flight for 30 seconds, and successfully validated the company’s Flight Termination System.

Honestly, that was impressive first flight for ZQ3 A flawless ascent, the second stage made it to orbit, a successful re-entry burn, stable descent, and all that went wrong was an engine failure on the landing burn No other reusable booster has got this close to a landing on its first flight I wouldn't be surprised if LandSpace can sort out whatever destroyed that engine by the next flight, and then a successful landing would seem pretty likely
