🚨 BIG: 🇮🇳 India's next defence breakthrough could be powered by this homegrown engine Hyderabad-based Paninian India has unveiled the Yantur 4.5 kN turbofan engine programme, claiming it to be India's first privately developed compact turbofan engine in its class. The indigenous engine is being developed to power the company's SVAYATT-L1 long-range cruise missile and could also support future collaborative combat drones through higher-thrust variants. The programme has completed its conceptual and detailed design phases and is now progressing toward subsystem testing, validation and full engine certification, with the company aiming to strengthen India's indigenous defence propulsion capabilities.

We just installed some CNC machines at the Engine and Stage integration facility at Astrobase Space. Action >> Hype. The objective is to reach a stage where we can produce 50 FFSC rocket engines annually with 80 Tonne thrust each. This capacity plus Reusability allows Astrobase to deliver 200-500 tonnes annually to the orbits. With that, India will be able to sustain enough number of Sats in the space assuming standard rate of replenishment.
