.Brian Chesky on how being in the details paradoxically creates less work for him

@bchesky How often does he have pneumonia? He should definitely get that checked out.

@bchesky Brian is twitching like crazy on recent videos ❄️

@bchesky Why the fuck is he blinking and twitching so much?

@bchesky I’m not going to share how I know this, but this is obviously founder mode (aka cocaine)

@bchesky He clearly suffers from long pneumonia

@bchesky Good timing. This observation is somewhat related to a realization I had this morning that we can probably discuss in our upcoming conversation on your podcast.

@bchesky 🔥

Is he sick or unwell? Or is he on something? Serious Q, surprised that a lot of people in the comments aren’t voicing concern.

This is a nuance that people miss in their need to see immediate results. Being in the details doesn't scale but creates very short feedback loops and raises the bar. Once the bar is raised, everyone knows what's expected. Effective leaders have been doing this forever. It's a hard way though and few have the patience for it.

@bchesky This is motivating to many aspiring entrepreneurs. You can be addicted to substances, or look like you are, or have long pneumonia and still make a company that puts your net worth at $8bn you also don't have to like hard work, and talk about it like its a moot point
