Brickell Bay Drive is going to be an absolute gold rush for developers when some of these towers start terminating. 👀 It will just take ONE to start the domino effect #miami #realestate

This project (Babylon Racquet Club) is proposed next to Emerald Brickell

Which is sort of historically poetic, since those lots were all residential mansions that sold one by one to those buildings Which will sell one by one to even bigger buildings

Yup kinda the story of Miami. Continuous onward improvement 🚀

Brickell has overtaken South Beach as my favorite part of Miami, with my favorite restaurants and hotels. Happy to see it being developed more!

That’s some top tier land.

The value of the land is rapidly making the current condos there untenable

Is there a height restriction for buildings eventually built there?

Just an FAA one I believe

@miami_rick Not quite. The Brickell Bay Dr Horsehoe is zoned T6-8 which means 12 stories maximum with bonuses. This is why these buildings have not terminated.

@miami_rick Live Local or rtz still take care of that lol

My buddy owns a unit in one of those buildings and there is a Russian oligarch who has been buying his building for over 7 years

Where do you think is a good place to invest in Miami

Guaranteed should I buy a condo there? See any good deals there?

I am not a realtor or a financial planner. I will say buying a condo here has both a great risk and a great reward. You could get a buyout from a developer for 2x your purchase price or you could get a $100,000 assessment.

We leave on brickell bay drive & Yes! We agree.

I hope you get a nice return when the eventual buyout happens.

Even T6-8 R zoning? Only one building has by right zoning Didn’t the emerald sue to block a tall building like Babylon?

Have a unit in the center of that pic. Absolutely part of our future plan

If I was investing for a long hold, that is where I would be doing it.

I hope so, we've had it for a while, that would be a nice exit. There was an attempt to buy one of those buildings earlier this year, but I don't believe the co-op approved it.
