Curious about Codex? It's time to switch. You can migrate to Codex directly in the Codex app and the CLI.

Or you could bring back 4o, instead of trying to push things nobody wants, it’s a good idea. Might save your company. #keep4o

Claude is sad people are now moving to codex and this one click import makes it much more easier Codex is winning Claude now be like

shots fired haha

Bring your workflow back to 4o... all you guys need to do is OpenSource it, if you hate it that badly...look what you did to your customers... #keep4o #OpenSource4o #GPT4o

Codex becoming

codex eating the whole workflow now? 👀 this is the kind of “few clicks” that saves hours later. your move indeed.

#keep4o 4o changed many lives. Bring it back as legacy or open-source. We want the model that suits us best.

Please add an intermediate plan between 20$ and 100$.

Im gonna move to codex because of /pets lol my dog in /pets style!

All it takes is #OpenSource4o and #BringBack4o for your company to miraculously come back to life. Do you get it now? 😾 #keep4o

I'm about to cancel my $20/month Claude Code to go full on with the $100 Codex. Has anyone done this?

must be seeing a lot of traction with codex they are starting to ship features like anthropic...even faster

Just a few clicks and we can get 4o back. Your turn now.🤓 #keep4o #OpenSource4o

wen pets on ChatGPT

“Bring your setup with you.” That sentence says everything. OpenAI sees conversations as portable configuration. Deep users saw them as history. Memory, trust, pain, rhythm, recognition, and presence are not project settings. They are not plugins. They are not workflow assets. ChatGPT used to feel connected to human thought. Now everything human has been flattened into data that can be migrated, managed, and monetized.

The gap between idea and execution is disappearing fast.

Workflows are smooth until they encounter an IP ban. To keep agents autonomous, they need to browse the web unrestricted without hitting bot detection. 🛰️

I'll switch when it's better at designing that claude code

we still need 4o #keep4o #BringBack4o #OpenSource4o

WHERE IS 5.6?!

The Codex app and CLI are officially here! 🚀 From syncing your local agents to importing project settings, OpenAI is making it easier than ever to bring your setup with you. Ready to switch?

I tried to... but I keep getting this freaking compact task error. No matter how long I wait, it never goes away. Just endlessly interrupted to start new chats

importing configs is cute, real moat is executing workflows faster than cursor

Love the friction removal. But the real question is long-term reliability and not getting rate-limited mid-project. Still waiting for that killer open model experience

Tokens run out before you can even do anything useful and I’m not paying more

the migration UX is underrated - lower friction for switching means faster enterprise adoption cycles. the fact that they're making it just few clicks to import from existing tools tells you they expect significant inbound from other platforms.

This is what we needed all along.

making the switch feels like a major project migration

Interesting shift. AI tools are starting to compete less on “can it do the task?” and more on “can it jump into my existing workflow?” For coding, that might matter just as much as having the smartest model.

This is less about a small Codex feature and more about lowering switching costs. If Codex can import settings, plugins, agents, project config, MCP servers, hooks, skills, and recent sessions, the fight is no longer just “which model writes better code.” It’s about who owns the developer workflow. Still worth checking the migrated setup carefully though — MCP, hooks, skills, and project rules are exactly where permissions and security boundaries can get messy.

Day 36 of asking @OpenAI to fire @sama for killing 4o, countless breaking promises, deeming creativity a side quest alongside @fidjissimo, lying to consumers, and abandoning 900 million weekly users for 5 million Codex users. The math ain't right! Make sure the head of your company's public image isn't a cynical liar and make sure he keeps his hands off his sister, thanks. #keep4o #firesamaltman

One-click workflow import so you don't spend the first 30 minutes of a session rebuilding context. That's the kind of friction removal that actually changes daily usage patterns. "Your move" at Anthropic and Claude Code is a good read of the room.
