It hurts to say this, but it’s the truth. I’m disappointed in the amount of issues I’ve had with my R1S. This is going to be a long post. I’m disappointed that an issue that was found AT DELIVERY (Feb 8th, 2024) is still not solved. I owe it to all of you, especially my followers, to be open and honest. No car is perfect, but at some point you have to stop with the “I’m going to be nice and keep giving you chance after chance.” I live about 90 miles away from my service center. So that is 180 miles round trip. I’ve had 8 service appointments with number 9 scheduled for this Monday! 9th appt is for the R1T front driver suspension sagging. Some of my issues were solved. But the major issue on my R1S is not resolved sadly. The issue is my passenger door. It’s badly out of alignment, makes lots of noise when driving and rattles. The door has been realigned 4x now, the hinges have been replaced and it’s still making the noise and rattling and not able to be aligned. Now, the door is worse than at delivery and is rubbing the fender when you open it. It has now pulled paint off the door. I was told, that “Other R1S are doing this and currently no fix that engineering will have to come up with some fix.” Video attached. My R1S & R1T are leased. Between my R1T and my R1S, I have driven roughly 1450 miles of my lease mileage limit in service appt trips. I think this is unacceptable for ANY Vehicle regardless of power train. The R1S has done about 1k miles of the 1450. What I would say going forward, if you are buying a Rivian product, DO NOT TAKE DELIVERY of the vehicle if there is anything wrong with it at all. Make them find you another VIN. I still support Rivian. They are dear to my heart. But enough is enough. With almost 200k worth of vehicles in my garage, this is NOT the experience anyone would expect. I have had my share of issues with my Tesla vehicles, but nothing to this scale where I have been to a service center this much so early in the ownership. I have begun background processing about the situation, and expressed our intention and what we want done. I want to make this clear as well: every time I go to service, they are super nice & friendly. I appreciate that so much but, at the end of the day, it can’t get my R1S fixed. I will still continue to support Rivian just like I do with all EVs. But this does make me question my R2 purchase when it comes time. As much as I don’t want to go back to an all Tesla household, it’s looking like that is what will happen. I strongly LOVE my R1S. It’s been one of my absolute favorites. Mine just isn’t built well at all and sours the entire experience. Maybe if the background process makes progress and they do the right thing, or replace the vehicle our perception can change. There are plenty of ppl out there without issue. So keep that in mind. I’m just not one of them unfortunately. I’ll do my best to keep this updated as things progress. I’m hoping Rivian just does the right thing.

Recently Ross Gerber mentioned that it will be impossible for Tesla to scale quickly with their Robotaxi plans because they have yet to build any infrastructure as similar to Waymo. I am willing to bet a generous amount of money that Tesla is well aware of Waymo’s infrastructure and their struggles to efficiently manage their fleet. Tesla does not have $15 billion of excess Capital to waste each year on a copycat Fleet management process. Nor would they spend it if they had an additional $100 billion in excess capital. After validating each geographical map area, Tesla will sell Robotaxis to individual buyers, it’s possible that there will be an up fitting process to enter your own Tesla into the Robotaxi fleet. Tesla will sell cybercabs to individuals and fleets that can come online anytime the owner decides. There is no alternative viable method to saturate the market. Tesla is not going to purchase 100 separate properties in Los Angeles and pay minimum wage workers to clean puke out of vehicles. It’s not going to happen. Tesla is going to take the high margin SAS profits and determine the appropriate costs per mile breakdown to make a viable business model for vehicle owners. Coming soon- The Shepherd Model by Tesla. As mentioned many times before, The process to develop a nationwide network of fleet owners and shepherds is the foundation to also handle the deployment of Optimus robots for temporary gigs, part-time work, and generally cool shit. 🚗 Another Vehicle Dumped on Our Streets Following the successful removal of the Renault truck, we now have another vehicle that appears to have been dumped, this time at the junction of Coleshill Road and Ventnor Avenue. The vehicle is visibly damaged and has been left in a position that is causing an obstruction close to the junction. While England does not yet have the same widespread pavement parking restrictions seen in London or Scotland, parking that causes an obstruction or creates a danger to other road users is a separate matter. As your local councillor, I will be reporting this vehicle to the local police so that appropriate action can be taken. If you are the owner of this vehicle, I strongly urge you to remove it immediately before enforcement action is considered. Our streets are not a dumping ground for abandoned or damaged vehicles. Thank you to the residents who continue to report these issues to me.

There is zero room for error here. 😬 The ability for FSD v12.3 to judge if an opposing car is going to stop or go on a yellow light is exceptional. This left on yellow is one of the most risky maneuvers to execute and I’m so glad that the team has worked on getting this perfected. Tesla AI you guys rock!! Still little quirks to improve like moving forward more in the middle of the intersection and following through a left on yellow behind a lead car but this is really promising! Elon Musk Tezmeeinc

Welp...FSD(V13.2.2) smacked right into a curb on the Cybertruck today...Both wheel caps are destroyed. I have re-watched the footage many times at this point and I am still puzzled as to why FSD decided to veer to the right. Quite frankly unacceptable behavior. To be abundantly clear, there was no one around me that would make FSD want to steer out of the way, I was not distracted at all and supervising the vehicle the entire time, and there was NO time to react to avoid this incident.. Thankfully no one was injured, and there seemingly is no additional damage to the vehicle or the wheels themself. Tesla AI team (Wes too), please feel free to use my vehicle's telemetry data or any additional data to look into this to avoid this happening in the future if you so choose. (DM me if any further info is needed) This is incredibly disappointing to me. I understand this is a "supervised" software but dang, does it sting when there is nothing you could have done to avoid this (Other than not using the software at all). To be clear, I still believe in the FSD mission, but I will not be using the software until the next revision. Lastly, and in some better news, the Tesla North America Ridgepoint service location did an incredible job at quickly checking my truck to make sure its safe to drive, and getting me some wheel covers IMMEDIATLY! As always, I appreciate you Ridgepoint team!

🚨 TRIGGER WARNING 🚨 I think it’s weird that you’re making up lies about me and my past and whatever else, but okay. Weird af, but doesn’t affect me. I think it’s weird that you are on this big attack path, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised bc I’m not the first. No biggie. But you are going too far by creating the accounts with my abusive ex’s name and coming after me to torment me. How many more am I going to have to block? This is someone that has a documented violent history, with multiple women, and put me through hell. This is someone who destroyed me in such a way that I still haven’t been able to have enough trust in anyone else to be in a relationship since then bc of the damage that was done. This is someone who I was forced to testify against in another case- that didn’t involve me- and I was a wreck the whole time, but had to sit there while they played this video and I had to answer questions with him watching me from just a few feet away. When you’re creating these accounts bc you think it’s funny to go back and laugh about it, THIS is who you’re using. If you really gave a damn about advocacy, you wouldn’t be using someone’s abuser to torment them for fun.

Alright this is starting to become a ridiculous problem. Second time in 24 hours on V14.3.7. This isn’t a native 14.3.7 problem, it has been happening to me (though rarely) since 14.2. I’m ok with nav thinking roads are closed and re-routing. 95% of the time it does this it is wrong, but that’s beside the point. It’s the fact that it does it at the very last minute when it literally already started a turning maneuver. It is so startling and tries to whip it out of a maneuver like it’s avoiding a crash. And the worst part is that the roads it’s trying to avoid are almost never actually closed. Please fix this Tesla AI

If you have a Tesla, you should be using Tesla FSD. Every day I see owners driving around manually for no reason. Let the car do all your driving! It will seriously change your life. Tesla FSD is now the product, and the vehicles are just the delivery system. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly suggest going to a Tesla showroom and experiencing the "magic" for yourself. It’s so hard to describe.

I genuinely think the Terafab is going to end up being one of the biggest moves ever made in human history to secure the future of AI... and I think most people still don’t fully see what Elon is trying to do here. The signs are clear to me. This is Tesla, xAI, and SpaceX essentially hinting to us that they are not going to wait on the world to give them the compute the team needs. They are going to build it themselves at a scale no one has ever attempted. When you really break it down, it gets a bit nutty. This is going to be a fully vertically integrated chip factory that will be producing over 1 terawatt of AI compute per year. This is NEXT LEVEL BIG. Today, AI is limited by chips. You can have the best models, the best engineers, the best everything... but if you don’t have enough compute, you will eventually hit a wall. Elon told us, the world can only supply a tiny fraction of the chips his companies will need. So this is the solution. Terafab puts everything under one roof like design, manufacturing, memory, packaging, testing, which means that they can build chips very fast.. like really fast. Chips designed specifically for: • Tesla cars and Optimus robots • xAI models • Space-based compute You see, while other companies and CEOs are thinking Earth, Elon is planning for AI in space. Around ~80% of the compute is expected to go orbital, powered by solar energy bc Earth simply doesn’t have enough electricity. The U.S. grid is only about ~0.5 terawatts, while space has basically UNLIMITED energy if you can capture it. And this is the steps to get it: Starship launches → space compute → solar-powered AI → feeds back into everything to Earth. Bro... Elon and his companies are playing at a whole different level...
