San Diego Police Officer resigns after getting locked in the backseat of his police cruiser for over an hour with a woman who he had arrested. Officer Anthony Hair arrested the woman due to a suspected car theft. On the way to police headquarters, the woman could be heard in the backseat telling Hair that she wanted to have s*x. Woman: 'Are you single?' Hair: 'Yeah. But you're not.' Woman: 'I'm down to f*** right now.' Hair then pulled down a residential street and turned his car and bodycam off. After about 20 minutes, Hair called a fellow officer asking if he had a master key to open the back door of his police cruiser because he had locked himself in. Arkansas State University is a federally funded institution, and I was just told there is “nothing they can do” about a student in university housing calling me a ni**er on video. I was encouraged to accept an apology from a friend of the RA and move on. Let me be clear: no Black student in this building feels safe right now. This did not happen off campus. It did not happen online. It happened in university housing, immediately after an RA meeting, and involved private details of my housing situation being shared. The response I received minimized the harm and shifted concern toward the comfort of those involved rather than the safety of Black students. Calling me a racial slur is not a misunderstanding. It is harassment. Treating it as something to be apologized away sends a message about whose safety matters. Happy Black History Month. We are still being told to be quiet, be polite, and accept less. If you live on campus, especially if you are a student of color, you deserve to feel safe where you sleep. #LRHN

🚨Mysterious Weird Lights in the Sky | Pilots UFO Reports over Dallas! This is what the pilot sent in to VASAviation, link to the full video down there in the beavers pocket... "Last night I was operating a flight into DFW and we were cruising at 34,000 feet when I noticed two lights in formation. The lights would be super bright and then die out quickly and go away. We were at 34 and the lights were quite a bit above us on the horizon. My first thought was satellites, but they kept getting super bright and go away over and over." "I first checked with ATC to see if the SHIRLEY MOA was hot, but they said it was cold and nobody on the radar. They kept in the same 1-2 o’clock position on us for about 250 miles. And would be moving in formation, sometimes really fast on the horizon. After 30 minutes of watching them I check in with Ft. Worth on 134.47 and the conversation ended at 2:32Z." POV of what led to Fairfield High School, Officer Bianca Brown allegedly used excessive force against student Maurice Williams. According to Fairfield police, a school resource officer responded to a "physical altercation involving multiple students on campus" just after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Police say a high school student was fighting a school official who was trying to break up the fight. According to Fairfield police, the officer then saw another student trying to retrieve an item from a backpack during the fight - which the officer believed was a weapon. The officer then confiscated two backpacks. Police say the officer then escorted one of the students involved in the fight to a campus office. They say a large group followed the pair, including other students "who were actively trying to fight the student the officer had detained." After the student had been taken to the office, police say the officer tried to approach a second student who was trying to fight. The student refused to listen, according to police, and went back to a large group, where more students were fighting. The officer then tried to detain the second student, police said, but they tried to pull away. At this point, other police officers had arrived at the school to help with the response. Police say the student then hit the officer, which prompted the officer to perform what they called a "takedown technique" and place the student on the ground. As the officer tried to place the student in handcuffs, the student resisted, police said. In the press release shared Thursday, police detailed what happened before the officer placed the student in handcuffs. "The second student placed his hands over his head and covered his face. An officer grabbed his wrist and tried to place his hand behind his back. The second student tensed his arms, and the officer was unable to overcome his resistance," Fairfield police said. "The officer administered a distraction strike to the second student's hands. The officer tried again to pull his arm behind his back but was still not able to overcome his resistance." After additional "distraction strikes," police arrested the student. As police worked to arrest the second student, they say the first student, who had initially been taken to the office, ran out of the school office to where the officer and the other student were. The first student was later arrested. Police said they found sharp objects, including a screwdriver, in the two backpacks they confiscated.
