🐥 ARMYs might wonder: Arirang all of a sudden? 🐿️🐰 correct 🐥 like why'd it be Arirang? 🐻 but I also wondered that 🐿️😂 suddenly? 🐰 like "oh?", "eh?", "huh?" 🐿️like "it's Arirang?" but we did surprise them 🐹 that's right 🐥 international ARMYs might've wondered what is Arirang and Korean ARMYs might be like why is it Arirang all of a sudden 🐻 but the secret to this will be revealed gradually 🐿️ how will it be revealed? 🐻 once the album comes out: "boom" 🐨I hope the album come sout fast 🐰 right it's too far 🐨 ah please the album come out quickly 🐥 I think it'll get explained once they listen to the album 🐨 right, when we all gathere together, we started from wondering "what all we did together so far" and I think we wanted to show where we started from.. all 7 of us are Koreans and we were hoping that something that represents/symbolizes Korea would go into it as well and the keyword "Arirang" came up.. honestly everyone interprest Arirang differently since the lyrics are abstract... like sentimentality and longing and love, is what I think of it as.. 🐰 right 🐨 honestly, while I was in the military, I thought of that a lot.. like the past and doing concerts 🐿️ we longed for/missed it all 🐨 we missed (being out in) the society, we missed ARMY, and missed the Bangtan members a lot as well, the past as well.. and since Arirang contains the happiness, anger, sadness, and joy of humans... so we hope that that sentiment, would be included in the album that we're releasing after a long along with the music including the happiness, anger, sadness, and joy that we experienced ourselves, we thought that it'd tie it all up together well. 🐿️ it really seems like 'us' and feels like our roots... I think from that way, Arirang was what tied it up all together really well 🐰 right it does feel like it ties it together well 🐿️ I listened to it and was like "ohh?" 🐨 and we also performed Arirang in KCON Paris 10 years ago 🐰 ah right remember this? 🐰🐿️ *start dancing* 🐿️ we did it diligently 🐨 since we did that, I think it came out as 'our Arirang' 10 years later 🐰 true, it's fascinating 🐿️ and the logo is also out 🐹 our Jungkookie was like "how about doing something like this" *does drawing gestures* 🐱 right he was doing that 🐰 right, when we were in the US, I did like 4 sketches and sent them and the company developed it a lot 🐨 Jungkookie was constantly drawing on the tablet.. but it's ㅇㄹㄹ, I did think it'd be unexpected but it almost seems like no one knew 🐥 might be 🐻 ah really, no one knew? 🐨 I'm not sure, maybe some did 🐿️ ah the ㅇㄹㄹ? 🐨 right

Into the Sun - Track 14 on which Taehyung worked on! 🐿️It’s the last song 🐨One of my favorites! 🐨V had a big part in it. V ssi Pleas introduce it! 🐿️V, tell us about it 🐯This song happened to become the last song of the album. 🐰Last song outro 🐱Like an outro 🐥But what’s funny about it is that Taehyung ssi was against this song. 🐨it’s a song you wrote but why were you against? 🐯no it’s not like that, it’s true that I wrote the song, but even then, I was thinking “does it fit in the album?” One has to look at it objectively, so~ 🐨🐰🐿️no but it really suited (the album) well. 🐯even of not that, even if it’s a great song, there were many other great songs written by the hyung’s, so I was just a bit.. eh.. eh 🐰what? What is that? 🐯bighit ~ 🐯There were so many great songs, so I was thinking why this song? 🐨there are many songs with strong sound, so in any case, this song sounds different so~ 🐯and so since members loved it so much, it was added. 🐨what I think is beautiful about this song is that it kind of makes me think of the seven of us running in the sunset. 🐹it’s a song that fits very well for an ending 🐨it’s like a song that comes up when an anime ends 🐯this song~ 🐥I was next to Taehyung when he worked on it, and it’s a very well made song by Taehyung 🐱He took a big part in it. I was there during the recording, and V was so emotional during the recording. Since he got so emotional, he got choked up with emotion. *imitates Taehyung* *all laugh*

In case you're wondering how the train debate started 🤣 🐯 What's been on hyung's mind lately? Share it and we'll find a solution for it 🐨 Do you know the trolley dilemma? 🐯 Trolley? 🐨 It's like, I'm on a train, the one driving it- 🐹 Ah who you'll run over? 🐨 Exactly, there's different kinds of people and it's like between someone really close to you, a friend/acquaintance you love, and 5 strangers. You've got to run over someone, or like choose which way you're gonna go 🐥 There's a lot going on about it 🐨 There's no fixed answer to this, but it just reveals what your thoughts are as you debate on this 🐯 So, one thing I wanna ask is... let's say I did pick one out of the two.. what happens to me? Do I go to prison? I do, right? 🐥 The thing is, this kinda answer could imply that this is your personality/how you think 🐨 That's right 🐯 It'd be an easier choice for me if they say I'm not going to prison, right? 🐨 Alright let's say that you won't go then 🐯 No matter what I choose? 🐨 How do I say this.. umm, when you make a choice, it's counted as justifiable defense rather than self-defense. The train is malfunctioning and you found out through the black box 🐯 And which direction do I swerve the handle to? 🐨 Precisely, the fact that you couldn't help but swerve it into some direction would be taken into consideration later 🐯 Ah then I'd just go towards the 5 people I saw first 🐨 And then you go to the court later and s- 🐯 I THOUGHT YOU SAID IT WAS FINE?? 🐥 🤣 🐥 No no, usually back in the days people used to accuse someone like "Oh, so you're someone who's okay with 5 people dying?" 🐨 Like, your fans could be among those 5 people 🐹 Right 🐯 No, but.. 🐨 There could be elderly people or children 🐯 But what you can't help about it is that... it only takes a few seconds 🐨 And you have to make a quick decision in those few seconds 🐯 At times like that, if I see my friend and someone I don't recognize, then I'd just obviously (run over the stranger)... 🐨 How close do you have to be? What's like the minimum threshold 🐹 Let's go with Jimin then 🐯 For example, me and Jimin 🐨 If it's Jimin, the answer is easy 🐯 Members, family, or friends 🐨 So, as long as they're among the 10 of your closest friends? 🐯 Yes

🐨: When we all got together, we were like, so what is something that’s really us? We thought about that a lot, and we wanted to show where we started, I think. 🐨: All seven of us are also, all Korean, too, and we thought it would be good if something symbolizing Korea could be included together, and while thinking that, we ended up, uh, bringing up the keyword, uh, “Arirang.” 🐨: “Arirang,” of course, is kind of… honestly, everyone interprets it differently, since the lyrics are abstract. I think it’s a story about this lingering feeling, longing, and love. That’s what I think. 🐨: I think that’s something I actually thought about a lot while I was in the military. You end up thinking a lot about the past, You miss everything. Something. 🐨: I miss civilian life, I miss ARMY, and I really miss the BTS members, and I miss the past. So, also now, since “Arirang” contains all the joys, angers, sorrows, and pleasures of life together, that kind of emotion felt like it could, in this album of ours. 🐨: As we’re putting out an album for the first time in a while, well, encompass our—what we’ve been through so far, the joys, angers, sorrows, and pleasures, and really tie together the music like that. 🐿️: But the thing that’s truly the most like us, that feels like our roots, and that we could show clearly in that way, I think that was “Arirang.” 🐰: Something that can tie it together— some kind of— 🐿️: Uh, I listened and I was like, oh, kind of like that. 🐨: We sang “Arirang” ten years ago, and at KCON Paris. 🐰: I saw that stage, on the channel. 🐿️: Wait a second, do you remember this? Ah, we did our Arirang and did it like this. We danced hard back then. 🐨: Since that happened, in a way, ten years later, now it ends up coming out as our “Arirang.” I think that’s what happened. 🐰: That’s fascinating.

🐨: The song 'Body to Body' was originally supposed to be titled 'Body on Body.' If I remember correctly, it was a song with a very sexual nuance, like 'I need somebody on body.' You get the general vibe…bodies overlapping and all that. So it was a pretty sensual song. 🐨: Of course, it's not like we can't do sexual songs anymore; after all, we are in our 30s now. However, I just felt that putting out a highly sexual song right now without a clear reason wasn't the right direction for us. 🐨: So, I thought about 'Hand in Hand'—the theme song for the 1988 Seoul Olympics by Koreana…and shifted the concept to 'Body to Body,' playing on the idea of holding onto each other's bodies instead of just hands. I really wanted it to become an anthem. 🐨: There was a lot of debate in the documentary about whether or not we should include 'Arirang' (to sample the folk song). Since some of the context was edited out, it might look a bit sudden, but after listening to it for the third time, I finally understood the reasoning behind it. 🐨: We had been listening to the version without 'Arirang' for a long time, so when it was first added, it felt a bit unfamiliar. Some people might even look at it and think, 'Isn't this trying too hard to push forced Korean patriotism (Gukbong)?' To be fair, that's a perfectly valid perspective. 🐨: But ultimately, when you think about it in the context of live concerts, that part hits differently. Seeing so many international fans waiting for that exact moment and singing along to a traditional Korean folk song perfectly... that is not a scene you can just artificially manufacture or stage. 🐨: I actually really like the GIF of that moment. J-Hope is dancing and grooving excitedly right next to me, while I'm standing there looking deeply serious and thinking to myself, 'Oh man, this is huge. We might be in trouble.'
