Bud washing. Yay or Nay?

Yessir, but I do first bucket with a bit of lemon juice and baking soda, just a pinch, knock all the dust and pollen and general outdoor debris off, second bucket 3 parts water to 1 part 3% HP, hopefully kill any potential remaining spores or bacteria that might remain, 3rd rinse

Man I almost did it that way but for some reason I second guessed myself, they’re all going to get another wash, but with ice for bubble hash after freezing it for a few weeks. I got smacked pretty damn hard by bud rot this year. Still 3 plants to harvest though so I will try that way tomorrow, thanks bro! 💚

This was only 3 plants. Had to got get 3% cause I could not find my notes on how much 35% for the 5 gal. Might switch over to bins to do longer branches.

Totally agree! They’re exposed to pollen, dirt, bugs both alive and dead, and so much more! I see a lot of benefit to it, and no harm if done correctly 💚
