A paywall would have been the first thing I would have done.. a few months back. But a lot of my techniques are no longer compliant Testing what works here before pushing a paywall skill out

onboarding flows are so product-specific that most templates fall apart. this makes way more sense as a skill than a generic one-size-fits-all builder

clever. the pattern works because you're just codifying what good PMs already do in their heads. curious if the skill handles edge cases well or if you still need to sanity-check the question logic before shipping to users

its cool, but why you dont use it in your app?

The "point it at your codebase" part is brilliant. Most onboarding tools make you manually input everything, but having Claude analyze the actual code to understand what questions matter? That's solving the real bottleneck.

About to test this out! Perfect timing, gone through a few iterations of onboarding and now that I'm pushing live to IOS/Android I needed to beef it up. Giving it a go this evening!

Nice wedge. The hard part isn’t just the questions—it’s mapping them to activation moments in-product. Fastest wins I’ve seen: 1 JTBD question + role/use-case, then trigger guidance contextually after first action.

does it do fake demos and does it handle paywalls?

It throws into the existing paywall flow The demo attempts to extract the "aha!" moment for your app. The most viral moment that people will love. Some apps have them. Others don't. It's app specific. But you *can* opt out of the demo step if it doesn't suit
